Metal shard in Tire

So is a 4 mm "insertion"an issue on these tires? Again it doesn't seem to be but it could be on the precipice.

Man get back in yer cave.

In the past I've experienced tyres letting go big time but thankfully not on a bike.

Saying that twice I've taken the route of replacement over repair and on both occasions the replaced tyres were under 200 miles old.

Jist my choice and I would never intentionally pressure abod to do as I do.

As for garry,,,,,,,,,,,,,pay nae heid tae his comment, he's jist rattling his gums and winding yer up.

FYI there's fook all rubber over the wire carcass and next to nothing from the wire to the inside.

Personally I would let yer predicament develop, if it keeps pressure then all's good if it drops then make yer shout.

Bought one of them zumo sat navs and a couple of tyre pressure gauges for it's app, they're the size of 20mm aggregate and yer need metal valve stems. :thumbdown

BTW you'll need to be far more vociferous in yer comments tae offend the populace on here. :yes :thumbup

Thanks for taking me back... without it costing me anything :)

Yeah, I'll play it by the proverbial ear. It seems okay for now, but you never know.

I just ordered a really small pump you can hook to your battery, that has a good gauge, and the repair kit with 4 CO2 cartridges. Should cover me.
If there's anything funny I'll just change the darn thing. I'll kick myself for passing on the tire coverage if I do!

I bought a Suzuki 750 back in 06 , in the show room the guy said ' do want tire insurance ' fook that i said , waste of money ....... 75 miles later and you can guess the rest , ******* !!!! had to throw that one in the bin and buy a new one because it was unrepairable :banghead

The one time I dropped $600 on it I never used it. Now I sorta wish I dropped a few bucks on it :)
