Let down by a lack of a little orange light!

Hi, went out for a spin last Saturday during the day ( never a good idea whilst working nights) down to a local bike gathering at the Broxton roundabout (Cheshire) which was nice. Went back home but when I should have put the bike to bed couldn't resist a further ride. Whilst turning around the engine died, started again but died straight away. No orange low fuel light, looking into the fuel tank no sign of fuel sloshing around. No fuel! Fortunately er indoors came to the rescue with a fuel can. Bike started and back to base. The light has worked since I have owned the bike but I won't trust that again if I can find the fault. Regards David.

Bummer mate. I always used to reset mileage to zero after filling up and after about 100 miles was looking to refuel. Italian electrics have never been their best suit. Good job you have a good woman to rescue you.

YOU running oot of fuel diznae fill ma boots wae excitement.

Sounds like the wee orange bulb had a ride OFF.
