Kent riders!

What a great idea mate, certainly up for that. Have you ever had any dealings with speedaway motorcycles in blackheath? Being a right pain in the arse with me part at the mo.

Naa mate, don't know 'em. I use Bowen Moto in Chatham sometimes. They seem ok so far.

Yeah Bowens are ok mate, just went further afield for a better price and its come back and bit me in the arse! lol

Hey DD,
I'm in Gravesend. I know the guys that are in Spain at the mo like to do rideouts on frdiay nights and they sometimes head down to the coast, so maybe we could do one of those before winter kicks in or maybe an early sunday morning run.

Yep, they normally come down to Hastings for a meal at the seafront's Italian restaurant.
I am going for a blast this afternoon, 2 pm, to head towards Rye, Tentenden...
Anyone wants to tag along, the day looks lovely. I will be the only Aprilia in the trio...

Is it not a bit "on top" down the Oakdene any more, last time i went down that way on a wednesday the old bill were everywhere pulling lots of bikes for plates and cans etc.

Oh dear, may not be such a good idea me going then. :biggrin .

I'll defo be up for a ride out as soon as i'm off weekend's though.

Hey I am junc 4 of the M20, West malling. Will be rollin again next week if you fancy a slow one... New rubber and a bit nervous...

It may well be the last decent weekend, next one, so why don't we organize a ride out in the south east?
I would suggest 2ish pm on sunday?

You are at the opposite edge of the south east DirtyDogg. I guess somewhere in the middle. Let's see how many more are joining, then we'll work out the middle of all that.

Yeah thats cool mate. Gotta wait for afew of the boys to get back from Spain. Then see whose upfor it.

Hey dirtydogg and guys,

Plenty of near misses :devious:thumbup:biggrin

We all defo need to go out for a ride to the coast, the boom of all our Millie's turning up at the same time would be a sound to behold !!. :biggrin

Thought so. Don't think we ever met but i remember that you were quite an active member when i had an LC (95/96). I used to hang out with Tony Philips (LC engined, air cooled chasis, nice paint) and Steve Dyson. Used to go to the meets up at the pub in West Kingsdown (can't remember the name). Who was the guy that recently bought Gibson, Tony someone? Think he was the club secretary?

Hi mate, yep I remember Tony Philip's 'Joosters' and also Steve Dyson - haven't seen Steve for ages though, last time I think was at the Gibsons dyno day about 3 years ago and he was on his LC. The pub we used to meet at was the Portobello. We still have a pub meet just down the road at the Game **** but it's changed to the first Wed of the month, anyone is welcome to come along.

Yep, it was the other Tony who bought Gibson Exhausts, and used to run the LC club. He doesn't run the club any more but runs a team in the Yamaha Past Masters series (LC's, TZRs etc). In fact they are at Brands at the end of the month. Gibson exhausts is still going well.

Small world eh?

Joosters, that's it. Was trying to remember what it was. He painted my old Arai for me, union jack style, very nice job. Last time i spoke to him he didn't have a bike at all. Haven't seen Steve for donkeys either. Defo small world. Catch up some time. You must be racing against Martin (taymar) Taylor's bikes then? Bemsee?
