Looks like a bargain dude, it might be too good to be true ! Check it out before you buy !

i would be sceptic about this one. looks like it has been crashed on the front - new mudguard, non standard screws on the windscreen, different front turn ndicators and that "akrapović" seems to be somehow short. checkout the front carefully if the dashboard is straight, check the damper if it is an ohlins one or replacement and definitely it is not a 2004 model as listed. it is 2003 and i do not think that the 2003 models were built as yellows and the stickers do not look like originals too. also it has no "ears" so the front looks to be from a 99-01 model. just ask about the history and if it is fairy tales do not buy it :)

Something seems a bit off there, would look into the history and if there is none thats a great way to get the price down. I would not be put off by a parts bike but would like the price to be right before I brought it. Well worth a look. Very nice looking bike.

The new mudguard could be carbon, its a bad pic so cant really tell, check the pic again mate as the ears are on it :thumbup

I think its about the right money for a 2003, fcuk alls moving and dealers are tryin to shift stock

show me the ears
media

you can see there are only screws on the place where they should be

Forget that, ive just enlarged it and ya right theres no ears but its not a pre 2001 fairing tho as they have a ridge on them, mudgaurd is carbon tho

some people dont like the ears and take them off, got to be worth a look in my book, pay for a report on the vehicle and see if its been written off, cheap as chips to do it on the internet nowadays.

Look genuine to me, mines an 03 model registered 04 the same, this is the R version and has carbon front mudguard etc as standard. The ears may have been taken off the two fixing bolts can be clearly seen. Thats not the original screen which may explain the bolts.

Mate they did come in yellow on that year with the gold oz wheels and ohlins radial mounts up front. They didn't come with playstation stickers though so as previously suggested check the front end etc for crash damage.

As for the akra can, some people do cut them down but usually to cut off the damaged bit from dropping the bike. Hey we've all done it and it's not a problem as long as it has been repaired properly. I'd go and look at it in the flesh and give it a good going over.

Nice looking ape though.

Anything that says 'came straight from main dealer' gets my alarm bells ringing..Usually means bought at auction in the car world, or is dodgy and main dealer doesn't want it..I''d be very wary..Been stung with dodgy vehicles in the past.

Ive got the same in black & got it from a main ducati dealer 2yrs ago for £3200 with 10k miles,Griff says its the cleanest hes seen & mine was totally standard ,decals & all,it was cheap because there was no service book. This doesnt look right,I would say it has been dropped at somepoint & going by the tyres it's been tracked aswell. But saying that,£2500 delivered sounds good
