Hello Folks

picking up a tuono on saturday. Early gen2 in orange/white/black/blue...you know the one!

lots of blades and a loveerly RSV-R colin edwards rep in the dim and distant past. Due my accelerating years the T seemed a lot more comfy whilst still feeding my inner hooligan! :thumbup

Based in north west england for the last 20 years but i'm an exiled yorkshireman by birth

you can always tell a yorkshireman....you just can't tell him much

thats me

oh well picked it up and its now happily ensconsed in goose towers!

dear lord its good, I mean really good, I mean 6 detour for a bottle of milk good!

happy bunny today am I......

Another newbie intro. I have just bought a 2003 Tuono Fighter with a few mods already done. This will be my first Italian bike. I'm in England UK and have been riding various bikes for quite a few years and have a passion for it. To me, anything with 2 wheels is fun regardless of whether it has an engine or not or what size the engine is.

I have my own website/blog and like to video everything (bike related) and stick it on youtube and no doubt there will be lots of vids on the Tuono, especially next season.

I am not a fair weather rider but am choosing not to ride in the wet if I can help it. I'll use the DRs for that.:thumbup

Here is a video of the images I have of the Tuono which I can't wait to play on. Enjoy.

* Run out of fuel on way to petrol station
* Pushed bike to station and filled with fuel
* Pushed the button and very slight turnover
* Pushed bike away from pump
* Tried to start it again. Occasional turn over
* Switched off and phoned green flag
* Green Flag arrived and hooked up a portable jump start thingy suitable for bikes
* Click, click, click on the starter solenoid
* Loaded bike on to back of truck
* Arrived home and changed battery for a new fully charged one
* Click, click, click on the starter solenoid

to be continued :)

Edit: Oh, we tried to jump it too but nothing.
