Hia.

Taff ere, live in Somerset and picking up my second T on Saturday, this is an 06 in black, it's not a toy, it's my main transport :biggrin

I did look at getting a Superduke (out of budget) or a Z1000 (corrode to dust in front of your eyes) but settled on another T, I knows what I like :clap

Just wanted to say Ey up to everyone.
Baggy's the name from Doncaster in good ole Yorkshire. Became the proud owner of a shiny 07 Factory about a week ago and im loving it, so much comfier than my old Blade, thanks to the "T" riding is fun again.:biggrin

It's amazing how much my riding has changed and how much more comfier (& Farkin lazier) I am on my "T", I rode an RSV4 the other day for about 20mins and YUP beautiful engine and great bike.... I was only on it for 20mins because after 10 mins I felt like a chimp on a cruise missile and just uncomfortable, so I turned it round and went back to the dealership to get back on my trusty "T".... out here in convict land we are still being punished as we wont see a V4R until mid August, but I cannot ******* wait, if only they could make it sound like a twin it would be perfect LOL

Welcome Yorkie and Roo. The T is rather deceptive and does tend to make you a little lazy when riding. However, when ridden in anger, she REALLY shines. Try a track day. Trust me.

Yeah, cant wait to do a Trackday, done a few before & looking forward to trying out the T.
I'm so pleased the T is as good as it is because it was a buy i was sort of forced into, since suffering with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome riding a sportsbike was agony, but now i have a bike that's as good as any sportsbike and has the comfort of an armchair and no pain! I reckon you should be able to get Tuono's on prescription.

Welcome baggy, I reckon you should be able to get Tuono's on prescription.

That's a thought.

**** me gently, Aldo, whyn't the **** didn't I think of that?!! As you can see by my avatar, baggy, I too suffer from a bad case of headdownassupitis. That Supersport pos is a killer fer me arm. with mah T, ah mak aw the wee laes eat their shorts, and me aulder mates on their Ducs screaming jealous of a) how fast that ***** is in the twisties and b) how relaxed I am at the end of a lang day o' ridin'.

I heart my Tuono!!

whatup my names Grove, Im 23 and am from New York. Bought an 03 Tuono with 13k miles a few months ago. This is my first street bike and I love it. Been riding dirtbikes since I was a kid (mostly hondas). I will post pics of my Tuono soon after i swap out these qualifiers for a pair of corsa rosso's. Im addicted to scraping my knees and the dunlops just werent cutting it. Glad to be here, Just wish there were more people from New York. Ride Safe!

Welcome grove. I've an 03 one as well. Great bikes. Changing sprockets on it at next service I think

Welcome Grove, stick with us mucker.

G'day and welcome Grove

I'm from Oztraylia, but the family and I will be in New York at the end of August.

Sorry Shvl me old china, we won't be making it any further north this trip. Next time mate.

Hello all. Another first time Tuono owner here. Just picked up an '03 with 12k on the clock, on friday. Haven't managed to sort tax and insurance, so still haven't ridden it yet. Should be sorted tomorrow, hopefully.

Previous bikes include a Falco and a Speed Triple, 2 of my favourite bikes, so I'm confident the Tuono's the bike for me. I had a BMW K1200R before this, which was very fast, very competent, but I never really clicked with it. Lacking some "character" maybe.

Looking forward to running the Tuono over what passes for summer, then seeing what mods I want to make to it over the winter (when my old faithful Fazer comes out of the garage), so I'll no doubt be making good use of the forums knowledge base.

Morning All
Just back into biking after a year off due to lack of cash and recovering from Tre K ownership. Lovely bike but did have a habit of lunching starters. Missus offered to buy me a bike for my 50th as long as I stopped being a miserable bugger.:bawling
'03 Tuono with a carbon bits n bobs seems to have done the trick, barely stopped grinning. Now I've just got to remember which way the bends go on my fav roads, few last minute course corrections as the pace hots up.:eek
All the best for whats left of the summer:cheers

Hi, as per the username, my name is Iain - from Poole, just picked up a very tidy Factory yesterday, popped into Wareham Motosport earlier today to get it checked out and an its first MOT, seems all is good, there again it's only done 4,500 miles so it should be.

I have been looking through the site for common issues/mods and so on, seems the back brake works, tho I may need to get some of the Aprilia Performance rearsets to keep it that way, it has a working sidestand, not sure which type, its not a blade one, as I have an 04 blade, so know what they look like.

So far, all I can think is why did I not do this a long time ago.

PS
Even tho I am this far south, I can understand Rico - I was born in Keith, tho did move away a long time ago ;-)

Well whit can ah say other than "fit like loon" an welcome tae the mad hoose. Glad yer luvin yer T.
