How is the top speed limited? back wheel rotation or engine rpm?

Sorry mucker, a didnae realise this wis our race pit.

If what yer say is true then yer must be imagining this.

True.

Notrue. Feel it! Sorry mucker year not real eyes'inn how you keep telling me there are not too many that know how to use that axone. Sad, sad, sadealer level.

Again, don't blame me as if is my fault you are telling me these things. Don't blame me I hacked into that bike and found map. Don't blame me I speak the generic not the black and white. And that is what YOU WANT isn't it. That is what is pissing you off say it.

This tech speak is for the very few. I have no time for you unless you keep reading the abstract and ask what I meant. Guys begin to understand how that bike works they keep sweeping the content. I've seen it with my own eyes they tell me how much they've picked up and are not scared of the bike now. That is where I am coming from. BAT can black and white it. If he is not familiar how the cat burns out or such... So stops the tech level do not blame me I know some of a little of watt goes on in the generic.

You cannot stump me. I know book. I am book savvy and it is not my fault I can read the tech. Go look for someone else to blame you do not receive the black and white answers to your questions. It's not how my pit works on line. I'm not confused about the bike.

Okay, I'll say it...........................how many threads are you gonna **** UP with your drivel? Man, Iam getting tired of your ********. Faq it I'm out.

well.....I'm used to reading technical manuals and understanding from them how complex systems work, and what needs to be done to repair those systems (in helicopters.)

however, WATT you are talking aint tech speak it's mostly incomprehensible dribble and frankly, some of it is technically wrong.

you keep dribbling on about how you have a higher level of understanding about the inner workings of the bike, whoopy ****** do, my T is my daily transport and I dont feel the need to adjust my airscrews before every ride or finger my exhaust. I just get on the thing are ride it. when it needs servicing I take it to my man to do what he's paid to do.

IF you wrote in plain english, in a manner that I could understand I would get into a conversation with you, but as it is I can't be arsed to second guess what the hell it is you are trying to say.

The Rotax engine does not like being bounced off the limiter!
Don't I know it, lol. After a recent blast around Snetterton I hit the limiter on one of the rather fast straights & found a bit of headshake that decided to work its way into a mini tank slaper. Scary at 140mph plus when your about to hook the next gear :eek

Bat, don't take the bait of 2know. He may know his technical stuff but I have tried to read a post or two of his & like others say I think the drugs get in the way as none of it makes any sense me :dunno

Yeah right. And do you too, deal with the 3-amigos = Fuel-Spark-Compression on your jet engines, yes or no? Are we on the same page, technically? Say yes or no you want black and white answershut up with the rest of the jibberish.

however, WATT you are talking aint tech speak it's mostly incomprehensible dribble and frankly, some of it is technically wrong.
Technically, you will have to prove me wrong with the 3-amgos I just mentioned; you do work with those guys, right?

you keep dribbling on about how you have a higher level of understanding about the inner workings of the bike, whoopy ****** do
And when I return that chopper to the pilot, I get comments on how well it runs. No comebacks. You have a comeback, well, we'll know about it. BTW, watt is your term for that industry? "Come Down?"

my T is my daily transport and I dont feel the need to adjust my airscrews before every ride or finger my exhaust.
whoop de fuckingdoo. Sounds like you are sick of working on plane so you rather come home and just be joe normal couch engineer. I come along, mod **** out of mine, runs stronger than stock with one baffle mod. Minor things, adding more tune to it. Hey, it's the level of tune. Seems you go to a job. I go to work. That is my point, guy. I dig this ****. It's not a job. I work at it and now how come America is not creative is do not blame me I got a great runner = Withouthe axone.

Thought I'd pass it along to a bike site about the bike the site is about. But no one wants to hear about it. They are stuck on the "15/42-Map2." Fine, and that is your setup. BTWay, there more tune than that combo or add more to it. I'm trying to point out in the manual; how you can be on the same page. Performance wise for the street, I won't go there. The engineers put a smile on my face as it is. Let me ask you this; Why do I not see others with multi hacking ideas; Why is one chasing map with that axone all the time? Anyone? I found a map that runs 13 AFR. No axoneeded. Where is that at any other Tuono website?

It's too simple a bike but I can't get it through your head... Not my problem I address the issue, get it back up and running, you tell me I don't knowattime doing any time of the day. I seem to be on the same page after all that drivel is said and done. Show me where I am wrong, I'll correct it. I take that from the manual. It spews out thatechit. WATThe F is UP wit dat? I find that funny, sorry, but ha lapping some slapping on the leg it's too funny.

I just get on the thing and ride it. when it needs servicing I take it to my man to do what he's paid to do.
I'd kick and cry then I bring that chopper to you. I have to.... Guy, listen to me... I have to trust me and only me I leave the ground off that crest or in one of your tuneups. If you can't figure out bike... Watthe you working on a chop for? I may not knowattime doing most of the time, but man, you are the second chopper mechanic that would not work on his bike, but bring it to a bike mechanic... Watthe ****?!! Now it's my fault I would tackle the chop and you scold me attempting to try to. Bet me I'd get that thing running back up in the air. I'll take that bet. And I know jackshit about chops or jet engines. But I have the fundamentals in the toolbrainbox. That makes me dangerous to your job I come looking, no? I'm no engineer, but that puppy only flies one way and assembles one way sayseacoreski.

IF you wrote in plain english, in a manner that I could understand I would get into a conversation with you, but as it is I can't be arsed to second guess what the hell it is you are trying to say.
I am like that shop manual you read. If you have to second guess the obvious the **** I just pulled out my ***; and you do connecthe dots? Was that the shop manual's fault or yoursay yes or no give me the black and white. I speak book abstract. You are yelling at me to change the way the book is written. NO! I won't is the black and white answer is I can't. Make me look stupid any other way I explain it your way?

Then bring the other 3amigos you work with that gets her up and flying bring it! Now, are you still confused?

One of my mates has clocked up an indicated 160 on the peage running 15/42 - even allowing for speedo inaccuracy definitely over 150.

:stupid

I had an indicated 164 on mine running 15/42...on the Autobhan 2009...the eurohooners trip to the Nurburgring (with WindyAF1, HarryH, Twin4Me, DrJon and a few more...Harry called bulshit until he went into my diagnostics to get my recorded speed...btw...I thought it was 162)
Anyway, my point is this....even at this speed, I couldn't get the motor to rev out....I came nowhere near hitting the limiter....

The 15/42 (or 43) is without doubt the correct gearing for these bikes....and like others here, having personally experienced the difference over stock, you'd have to be mad not to swap....

To me, this is like an oil thread. I agree the 15/42-43 is the kick all. I agree I'd be wheeling that bike in every gear. I agree I'd leave a light faster than snot. Snot WOT I'm having is that luxury as you stated, I never reached red line, so why would I buzz bomb my rotax and tax the engine like that? Gas tax, gas tax, parts waiting for parts. Oh, but you have to try this. You can't work out that 3-4 hez but that gear change will get you there.

That to me says; who is tuning up that 3-4 hez? I told you to get that hez recall map to ANA and let them take care of it. If it's bucking here in the states, it also states out of your mouth in your world; that same hesitation. I can take the punishment of me working the air screws, that I can handle. But for me to burn out the bike in so many hours to avoid the hez? No, I will hear it from every corner, I'd love to go there, but not without that hez gone. I gotta clear that shititty.

I'd like to take the CEO and chain that corporate *** on my bike and ask him is that how he clears the emissions? Give me a bike that loosens the fillings in my mouth? Wear out is he so I can chain some slap on the back of the head is wake up! Bring forward that map is crap I got here now say. :lol

Well i finaly went for a decent ride after getting a 42T rear sprocket fitted (Supersprox), gearing is now 15/42, i wound it up a bit and managed 144mph in 5th at around 9400 - 9500rpm, so plenty left in her yet as there is another gear to go and the rev limiter kicks in at 11000rpm +-100, the 15/42 gearing seems perfect on this bike, it should be 15/42 standard, loving it.
