Badger

Spent a good bit of today getting the bike cleaned and ready for the winter lay up, winter up here is not my idea of riding fun:no

Took some pics once the beastie was gleaming, just to keep me sane over the winter months, i can sit in the warmth of my but & ben with a Bruichladdich in one hand and click on my pics just to remind me of the good times.

Still luv my Mille, even cleaning it makes me do a small wee:pirate

Looking forward to next biking season already, but for now it's:zz time.

I dont think mine looked that clean even when new :biggrin

I'll be riding mine all year tho', still get some good days over the winter and i get withdrawal symptoms if i dont get the bike out after even a week of non riding :thumbup

Might be laying it up a little early Badger, had a cracking bit of weather down in Kent this weekend, managed to get another 120 miles on my RSV.

Local farmers reckon this winter will be pretty dry this year, lets hope they are right so I can ride some more. :doug

Nah, the weather is bad now up here mate and the roads are really dirty, not for me i'm afraid.

very clean badger :thumbup the weather in the northwest gone **** so took mine off the road and am just about to start a big clean up op as its my first winter with the bike.already hit a problem all the hugger screws seized solid and rounded off:rant looks like its a fun strip down on the way:doug

In the process of laying mine up as well.

Roads round me are under 3 inches of mud now from the tractors.

I'm sure the mice in your garage are plaesed you cleaned the bike before they eat parts of it badger.

Or did you buy some new waders for them to munch on. ?

Hey Badger. Fancy coming down to clean mine in exchange for a free holiday near scenic Stonehenge?:biggrin

nice badger looks well clean, do your wheels ever get dirty or did you take them off the bike to clean?

What camera you using aswell buddy?

That's really nice Badger, do like the 'mood' lighting shots..... Guys..let's not talk about mud on the road, it's still a bit of a 'sore' point for me!!!!

Badger, OMG that looks the dogs bollocks, can i send mine up for you to overhaul and clean up :devious

badger, do you wana borrow mutley for a few days? I washed him

once.

That was back in jan..............

He's been mechanically pampered though. everything nut and bolt has seen greese and copperslip and has been prepped for winter. All silly jobs like cleaning the brake pistons have been done but I havn't found time to bath him

A man after my own heart, that looks as clean and as cool as f... Although my RSVR's 7 weeks old with 575 miles on it and I take VERY good care of it as with all bikes I've had, however it's touch and go if yours is cleaner. LOL

How many miles have you got on it?

and

Do you normally hibernate it around now or has the weather in bonny Scotland been a bit milder there too?
