Greetings All! Just dropping a line to say hola. I am in Sausalito and have had my Tuono for about 3 months. Damn, I love that machine. Gonna be making payments on it for the rest of my natural life, but OH MAN is it worth it. Looking forward to chatting with all of you.
I have been riding for about 4 years:
First bike was a old beat up Kawasaki KZ750. Wasn't pretty, but it was a tank and a great learning tool.
2nd bike was a Hyosung GT650S. This is where I began to ride a lot faster
3rd bike is the Aprilia. In a class of it's own. I still ride slow compared to most, but I want to come home at the end of the day!

See you all soon........

you sir live in the best town in america :thumbup and likely have payments beyond just the moto :laugh i'm still jealous though.

welcome to the forum :cheers

Welcome M8! Slightly off topic, but how did you like the Hyosung? Been thinking that might be a nice ride for a newbie buddy of mine.

The Hyosung was a great machine for the money. They really are a Suzuki knock off and most SV parts fit them. Considering the costs of everything these days, I would definately recommend the Hyo for a starter bike. And the 650 is fine for a learner. When you jet the carbs, that bike realy wakes up. When really looking them over, you can see the visual finishing touches are not there, not like the Jap bikes. BUT, looking at their cost, its a steal. More and more aftermarket parts are becoming available. I would have kept the hyo, but the Aprilia was a slight stretch for me and didn't want two motorcycles and the $ that goes with them.
