Help needed bike starts but cuts out after a few minutes

Got a 2001 RSVR I am sure its fuel related because if I leave the bike standing it starts then cuts out again, sometimes it runs for a minute or 2 and at one point I thought it was sorted because I left it running and turned it off, but when I went to start it again it ran for about 20 secs then cut out.
I have had the tank up recently and beforte that it was running fine, thats what make me thinks it is fuel. Just wondered if there is a vacuum pipe or something I could have trapped.

I think its sorted bloody tip over switch doh!

What did you do to it to get it working again?

Tip switch is located on back of the battery box, held in place by a rubber sleeve, I had put it back on upside down, so it kept cutting the fuel pump off.

same thing happens when the TPS and/or CPS are out of sync, ..but luckily the tip switch is easy to sort!!
