I've just purchased a 2003 black RSV Mille after lots of lurking on this forum and looking at classified ads.
Long ago (1990s) I had an Aprilia Pegaso 650, which I kept for 10 years, and it was the most reliable motorcycle I ever owned. So, the Mille seemed like a good idea...
No doubt I'll be picking folks' brains in due course if the Mille doesn't quite live up to the standard. It does seem very well finished, though.
Meanwhile, if anyone has an original owners' handbook for a 2003 Mille that would like to part with, please let me know...I've already downloaded the workshop manual and the service manager's training manual from the net.
