Thought I should formally introduce myself. Just acquired my 2006 t 1000r in May. Sold my Yamaha 02 vmax to join you guys on the v twin.
Love every minute of it. Funny how I have come from a v4 and now Aprilia have moved onto a v4 engine.
Bought it with 5000 miles on it and now I have already put 2500 on it. No real teething problems other than a high speed wobble I some times have and it would appear to have consumed a bit of oil over the 2500 miles. I have enjoyed reading the forum and learnt alot already. Look forward to alot more.....Julian
