Maintenance weekend for me here & its a long weekend to boot..so will be some time for riding on Sunday & Monday :thumbup .. weather permitting :nanaI've got a short the tail light bulb i fitted correctly, and when I turn the lights on, it stays on brake light, where as the other bulb works perfectly fine, where do I start :S

I speak from experience here, did it whilst I was working in to the wee hours one night getting my bike ready for a long road trip.
If you swap the bulbs left to right etc.... does the problem move?

yes its definately a stop and tail bulb, the way I check this, when I turn the lights on, put some sunglasses on, and I can see on 1 of them only the tail filament in on, and on the other one, both tail and brake are lit up
Yes but have you tried swapping them left to right?
It may just be a dodgy bulb?
