Not being funny and I know he is well thought of, but there are plenty of Aprilia guru's around. I live in the SW and my mechanic specialises in Aprilia - knows them and loves them inside out, all the faults and idiosyncrasies etc. Maybe I'm lucky as he's on my doorstep but I wouldn't trust anyone else with my P&J.
 
Yup that is lucky. I wouldnt trust anyone with mine unless I could see it being done and understood 100% myself what was being done and how.

Heard to many horror stories

GRiff is more than happy to let anyone watch him,he likes to explain stuff,he doesn't charge rip off prices and was head of the technical department at Piaggio uk when they owned Aprilia,he has probably done everything to our bikes in the way of repair and maintenance and is quite free with his advice when people call him at the shop even other bike shops....yes there are others out there that are good with aprilias don't doubt it for a second but the plus is Griff is willing to come out to any where in the country to see us.

Basically a bloody nice guy all round...except his taste for drum&bass....lol
 
Lol ill make sure I have sone drum and bass on tap then! Sounds good to me. I gave up with bike mechanic shops a while ago, prefer to do as much as possible myself or have some one do it for me that I can trust.

The fireblade forum has a guy called Mique, amazing man. Never met anyone quite like him, he has a real strong passion for fireblades and offers free work from an oil change to full engine rebuil only cost is parts and a sarnie or two.

Heard a lot about griff which is why I have asked hin to head down south :) looking forward to it!
 
Good stuff.. I like anything from some pop to rnb, uk garage, some dubstep, dance, d&b, rock to classical depending upon my mood

We can indeed mate, and will be able to line the bikes up on the sea front for photos which will be cool.

Somemofnthe lads have send messages with coatings and requests for work which ave all been responded too and seems everyone's cool , I'm happy to go anytime ....any suggestions on date grooves and we'll get this thing on!

Ah no, just replied to Griff via PM, but doubtful I can make it on a weekday..... Should have read the forum first.

I'll try to get a day off, when you decide on a day, but busy at the moment.

Having spoken to Griff this afternoon I can confirm we have a date.. Friday 15th March.

Can we have a list of names please? Can you pm Griff for prices and to confirm he can book you in also :thumbup

If you need to drop your bike round mine the day before and collect Saturday let me know as I may be able to accommodate this but only have a single garage..
