Griffs coming to Newcastle in the north east!

Hey jwer,

hope you can make it! Yea Griff charges £275 for a major service, which personally I thinks a bargain, Southerncross in London charged the previous owner of my bike £240 for a minor service!
 
As promised been in touch with Griff. He has confirmed that Monday 5th October is good for him too, so the date is set.

If everybody could just confirm in this post that they will definitely be attending that would be great, so griff can plan parts etc.

Anton, Sorry for the confusion Mate I was saying I would have the RSV valves checked IF I didnt swap it for a ZX10 (I have now, well this Saturday)
So no longer have my RSV :roll

How much is the suspension set up? Don't worry if there's loads to do, I'll go the end of the queue and come for the crack anyway.

hi anton2k3 suspension n throttle bodies balanced for my rsvr 01 thing is how much can one guy do?

Hi anton i can make that day no problem will get youre address closer to the date i also have front and rear paddock stands i can drop off for us to use if it helps griff, front is the type that allows the bike to be lifted using the stearing stem so allows front forks to be removed and tell griff what biscuits does he want.

delmonk that's a good question, and hopefully one I will be able to answer once i've talked again with Griff. It may be a long day for him!

Factorydude, that might be a good call, i'll ask him when we speak, I have rear, but no front stand. As for biscuits, word on the street is jaffas, but again i'll ask!

Anton if griff needs somwhere to kip i have my caravan rigged up in me back garden and its his if he wants to sleep over and do it on 2 days all mod cons and might even get the mrs to make him some rock buns for a discount of course. (only kidding)
 
am ok for the 5th, but there looks like a canny bit of work to get through in 1 day, I have a bike lift if Griff needs it, or if the work runs into the next day we can get work done at mine if its necessary.

flexible is my middle name! i'm hoping that we'll have all our drilling done by then but you never know with the weather up here :uhoh either day will be fine for me, just so long as the boss gives the ok! ...i'll tell him i have an urgent appointment with 'the doctor'.

Ok so I can only make the 5th of oct due to lecture commitments on the tuesday. I may b around tue lunch time. So either I can leave the garage open and avaliable while I'm at Uni so you guys can come get your work done, or the work moves to biguns house on tue. I don't mind leaving garage avaliable so it's up to griff and you guys really. Griff if you need a bed we have a sofa bed, I'll have to square it away with the mrs first though!

Anton2k3 mate iam flexiable to do either day or both to help out am good with spanners and every day watching the griff is a day of aprilia learning so plan me in on either day and give me as much notice as you can or if wanted both days the same applies

That's weird, same MSG twice! Think griff will have to decide what he can do on one day and split it up accordingly. Not everyone has confirmed yet either so may not be as many people.

If it moves location tue I might pop in to whoever house on lunch just to meet some more peoe from the zone!
