I am planning a green landing day Sunday 1st December for the mud fuds.

It will be adjourned if it pissing down all day though.

Let me know of you are interested.

Meeting at 9:00am ish, Scotch Corner, to set off riding at 9:30 sharp.

It will be a big loop, heading for Leyburn, then Hawes.

Lots of green lanes, not too much mud, no swampy bits, all legal.

Plenty of places for petrol and snacks on the way.

I have been practicing with my sat nav gadget, so we won't get lost (I hope), but will be taking a map.

There are a couple of places to park vans, trailers etc, or we can just meet up.

I anticipate some breakdowns and falling off so bring plenty of tools, spare parts etc.:lol

That's the one.
Obviously taken in the summer cos there are no river crossings. :crazy

Reminds me of a place we went when we were "kids" - Coxhoe quarry, that had some scary bits.
The ambulance used to take a few home from there.

I fancy a bit of green landing OT, but gonna have to let you know later in the week . It loos like you have planned a route for the total novice , which is good of you :thumbup

I'm up for it if I've not got any other **** on that day.

Here are a few images from the day.

The sun came out, almost spring like, my mate fell off 3 times, but no injuries or damage to bikes.:thumbup

Met at 9:00 and loading the trailer up at dusk, all totally knackered.

Looks like I missed out on a cracking day there OT :bawling

Hope to be be on a few trips with you in the not too distant future.

Nice 1 OT. Weather was good for you roo.
Looked at the yuotube vid Felix put up, no way could I do that with my virtigo ****, I'd be rolling down the first hill.

Brill OT, even sorrier now that I missed the day. :bawling

How many miles did you cover?

Grin, what do you enter on you tube to get Felix' s video up ?

We did about 90 miles.

The pictures don't really show how steep and slippery some of the banks were.

I will be out over the winter, learning new routes, looking fwd to lighter nights.

My garmin, records routes as I ride on ordnance survey maps, so the next time I go out, it's easy to re-trace the track.

Bet you were knackered when you got home :yes

That garmin could come in handy on our misery tours next year.........you lead , no wrong turns now !

It's impossible to get lost now.

I admit, some of the routes may be a bit challenging and take you places you won't have seen before.

But you won't be lost.

Unless the battery goes flat.:lol:lol
