engine output shaft broke.

Front sprocket shaft bearing collapsed whilst out riding today. Horrible grinding noise. Has anyone changed one? It looks like i'll have to rip the engine out and strip it down to do it. Any one out there whose done this ?

not sure if you can do it with the engine in the frame ..ring Griff tomorrow at aprilia performance

you'll need to split the cases matey, sounds like your output shaft bearing has given up the ghost. common issue on all bikes if the chain is too tight

considering the cost of a new gasket set for the mille, it'll be cheaper to just buy another engine off ebay or from members here like you're doing :thumbup

a full gasket set in germany costs 250 euros...

been there, done that for my track mille

Change the motor mate, much easier quicker and simpler job!
