Hi, does anyone have engine/crash bars fitted to their 1200 Caponord and know if these have to come off for the 20,000km service or if it can be done with them still on the bike, any info would be appreciated.

I think the Hepco and becker bars and may be the R &G bars can either stay on or are easy to remove, i bought the Puig bars and although i think they look the best you have to remove them for the big service and they take a few hours each way.

Hi, ok thanks for that, I think I'll ask the shop that's going to be doing the service what they reckon and if needs be I think that I will remove them myself at home if they have to come off, it's not to big a job and I would rather save the extra workshop time cost but it's still a bit of a pain, thanks again for your input and hope your happy with the Puig bars as I was looking at them before I settled on the ones I have.
