Canadaian Bears

Mate sent me photo of sign in Canada. I was just wondering if our Canadian cousins have to have bells dangling off their bikes to keep the bears at bay.

It also proves that bears do **** in the woods.

Yup, that looks about right. I just carry a bell though, **** the seasoning for the bear. Truthfully, I have a bear bell on my backpack when I am traveling through the back country. When I was a surveyor back in the day I have come across bears on the trail several times, when I DIDN'T have a little tinkling announcing my presence. Ya don't want to mess with a pissed off startled bear and you REALLY don't want to get between a momma and her cubs. I've seen some really ******* stoopid tourists feeding cubs, then have their camper messed up when momma showed up and the tourist tried to hide inside the camper. Scary ****, fer really! Anyone wants to come and visit, I'll see what I can do to show you some back country that will take your breath away.
