Brunstrom has got me

Went to North Wales on sunday with a few friends, when I left I was on 6 points and decided to stick to 30,40 and 50 religiously, going past Bala Brunstrom had a surprise party waiting for me, the copper jumped into the road and went through our bikes with a toothcomb, jobsworth said my rear tyre was .85mm of tread against the legal 1mm, so I am now the proud owner of 9 points.

I have no choice other than to sell up and take it easy as my licence is needed for work (60,000 miles per year)
So I am fooked

Keep it safe guys and stay out of Wales if you have
Cans £30
Small plate £30
Dark visor £30
Dodgy tyres 3 points each and £30

My group can testify to all the above fines.

Welcome to Wales eh :jack

unlucky john glad you didn't invite us out on that ride :thumbup track days from now then eh

fcukn stealth bomberz or what
need to know the frequency its running on so you can fit a jammer :D

this is one reason i wont miss my bike tbh.
after 5 years away from riding before getting my mille,
i have to say biking has deteriated alarmingly.
the amount of coppers told to target bikers and do em for anything and everything is disgusting imo.makes me sick.we have enough on our plate watching for **** dangerous car drivers eating/drinking/txt/talking on fones/pot holes/diesel spills/cow **** everywere,
speed cameras, cop cars.....without now looking at EVERY transit van/horse box parked on a curb at the roadside ffs.unmarked cars, unmarked sports bikes and touring bikes.

we all know theyre out to get us,as it seems,is most oaps/chav saxos/school run mums and most cars on the road.
going ack just those 5yrs,you looked for a cop car and the odd gatso in built up areas and that was about it.

its not why i sold up,id never let the fukrs get to me,but it all adds up and its impossible to ride everywere at 30mph on a bike that does 160mph.

Any consololation Big Un they were out in force in Market Rasen yesterday, i saw 2 cop bikes a stationary cop bike pulling bikes in, you cant fart round here at moment

Posh: Coppers often do not know what they are talking about - no really, a bit of research can often show up their lack of legal knowledge, as one particularly bolshy mate of mine has proved time and again - but they rely on us bending over and taking it up the arse without a fight, aided and abetted by the magistrates who are totally in thrall to the clerk of the court. You really should challenge this for all our sakes as that minute measurement is a joke. You might try consulting one of these specialist motoring or biking lawyers to ask if they think you have a change of beating it.

NOTE TO ALL: Wiltshire also has one of these sneaky bike-mounted cameras, often spotted on the A36 Warminster by-pass.

I spoke to VOSA who confirmed he was in his right to do me, I am going to write a begging letter for forgiveness, hopefully that may give me a chance of beating the points :(

HOW many points/much in fines did that one pull get you then p.j?
makes ya blood boil ffs.

true s.t,ive only been to market rasen once and i couldnt believe just how bad it was for the f.b.i.

never seen so many unmarked cop bikes, new blades and bmws ect.
i considered myself extremely lucky to have returned home without a single point or even a tug.between last 5 years since i had my 2 previous r1's and then returning to biking with the rsv,i honestly cant believe how muh the cops have spoilt it,i used to adore biking but i can honestly say this time round,i didnt.
constantly looking everywere for hidden coppers and cameras and very bad drivers as well as terrible road sufaces and the amount of traffic on the roads had trebled.to get the most out of a bike nowadays and enjoy it,imo you need a track bike and spend alot of your time at race tracks.it was sad to say but i was shocked to find id fell out of love with a bit.
when i get another, itll probably be a muscle bike,as slow as the yam xjr1300 was compared to the mille,it was much nicer to ride on todays roads and never got a 2nd look from the cops.
that brunstrom has alot to answer for, fukn prik, due to his hatred and victimisation of all things 2 wheeled.
i do believe also, theyll clamp down hard on us,either ltd cc on bikes eventualy,or stick the tax upto car levels with all this global warming balls, but itll just be an excuse to kill off fast bikes, like theyve taxed out sports cars, and summa gross like tracking devices thatll show how fast youve been ect.
