Average age of a Tuono owner?

Well 52 here, but all my bikes have been loud but the neighbours seem to accept it more as I got older. In the days of RD400E's and then 350LC's with expansion chambers people to used to shake their heads and complain, as Termignoni's arrived driven by two big pistons people complained less so, even the old dear next door says she likes the sound of my 998 on open Termi's.
Christ I hope I'm not getting responsible?
The Arrows on the T should put paid to any such rubbish

Just a whippersnapper then.:thumbup

Love the tuono! why would you want anything else! 10x comfier than a sports bike, throttle response is awesome, they look beautiful and they sound like thunder!

Last sports bike was a Suzuki GSXR 750 k3, Lovely bike but after 10 minutes you would get back ache, a further 10 minutes and your wrists start to ache with the addition of pins and needles, after 30 minutes the experience of riding was no longer worth the pain.

Much prefer uprights and since buying one of these tuono's I will never look back! ( + IL4 engines are boring )

thought i'd answer the question posed by the original poster (can you tell i'm trying to avoid doing any work!)

The Average age of a Tuono owner based on the 105 ish answers listed here is....

(drum roll)...

46 and a half (or thereabouts).

Thats just taking folks answers as they listed them. If i add on the years since they answered the average goes up to 48 yrs 3 months (or thereabouts).

One thing that did stand out from reading thru the thread... we're all a bunch of self confessed grumpy bastards :) long live the grumpy T owners

Just to up the average a bit.
I am 59 and 3mths.
Loud can (needed cos I'm going deaf)
I wouldn't say that I was grumpy, I leave that to the grand kids.
My wife says she doesn't understand me, I don't know what she means.
I could go on and on and on and on and on. ...........but I'm tired now and my cocoa is getting cold.
I think I can hear the wolves again.........

59 and have owned a tuono for 2 weeks, did the clutch on day three so not much riding yet, but the little I did was outstanding fun.

73 and 11 Months still manage to ride but only in summer I am getting soft
Will be insuring and taxing the bike for Aprila to see if I like it [Haven't ridden it yet]:lol

O dear 68 here this year!!!!!!!!!! Thattle put the average up.
But, sorry to say I have now p/xd my Aprilia for something more sedate.
Gone & got a Suzuki V Strom 650 GT.
Still got my ZRX1200 for really fast times, (yes can still do that) but need to slow down whilst I can still remember where I'm going, let alone getting back.

I'm not that grumpy but only a stones throw away....so I'm told.

One of the best bikes I have ever owned the T and yes I do miss it.
But gotta move on.

O & by the way, my insurance costs £200 F/c for both bikes.
Age does have its good points.

Ps...jim41. Well done buddy, congratulations.

Jings, we are getting on a bit,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,brill lads. :thumbup

the good thing about tuonos is they need filling up every 100ml and my bladder needs to unfill about the same time
