Hi lads Grumpys back. any dealer giving information at the moment is a compleat bullshitter No prices or availability information available from Piagio and they own them. SEEMS will have to wait till next week for the weekly Rag and they will only give us What might happen. Pisses one off, put a deposit down get a load of dealer promises. Then a load of excuses. Have now told my dealer to transfere it to a Diavel. And even that iv got to wait for as iv asked for a red one. The one thing im glad about is the delay might give me a chance to see in real life a Bloody V4 Tuono and then test one before confirming what bloody bike to buy. Bloody Italians...Now for a funny Story If your like me a ****.. My mate bought a Diavel from G whites Plymouth. Last week Swindon G Whites took it in a van to Plymouth for its 600ml service then returned it Telling him that because there was only 580 mls on the clock that in 20mls a service warning light would appear, but dont worry we will put it out next service. YER RIGHT 10000 miles. So he decided to ask On Ya BIKE the nearest Ducati dealer. No probs they said bring it along and No Charge mate. So he turns up And they look at the bike in Shock and Amazment. Theres oil over his back wheel and tyer Then they find a Socket and small Extension still attatched to his sump plug plus the plug is bloody loose.. Upon further inspection they find the chains not been adjusted plus a few bolts have not been Torqued up Calipers not been cleaned plus a few other jobs that are included in the first service. So my mate rings Plymouth And askes for his 18 Quid back or hes going to Shove the socket and extension where it hurts. They came up with a lame excuse that the fitter answered a phone call halfway through the service YER RIGHT. Now let this not reflect on G Whites As they have only recently taken over this plymouth load of Shyte. But if my mate was to tell the Guvenor Steave Ganndicot What had happened [Which he wont] Steve would rip someones NUTS OFF. AND THATS where my next bikes coming from. And am i taking it there for a service....ANSWERS ON A POSTCARD AND DONT FORGET THE STAMP. Now if i can get to test this Aprilia V4 Tuono i might cancell the Diavel And then you can all have my company for ever and ever. Aint that nice of me See Ya Grumpy ol Git
I'm not sure Ducati Aylesbury's history is much better TBH. Have a read on the Ducati forums.
JHP Ducati Coventry is best but the independent specialists are the way to go once out of warranty.

Oh POOH POOH And one more POOH, someone mentioned a Yellow and Black Tuono V4, Thought to myself, whats he on about, theres only black or silver. So went and had a look on U Tube and Bloody well found it. Dont normaly like Yellow untill now.. Its bloody Bewt, love the way they included the Saddle in the coulor sceem. Might be another change of mind. And i might find a use of my V4TUO Plate. Diavel Tuono??? Diavel Tuono??? Bellasconi Prostitutes??? Bellasconi Prostitutes. Lasagne Spagettie???. I know whats going to happen, the Diavel will be delivered then a week later the TUONO will arrive at the dealers. Bas**rds
grumpy, the lads am gettin the bike from have never give me false imfo. they allways said they would ring me when the spec and price was confermed.they rang today
I have rang them a few times over the past couple of months and was always told they had no news i was never told things like(its this price or that,its comin in a few weeks) there a sound bunch.

ok pia 1 Have been looking around on web seems things are at last moving. Just hope they move arse as the Diavels due for del end of month.And once here the tuonos up the creek without a paddle. Mind you do like the yellow one. still think its going to be to small for me. GRUMPS

Hud a wee blether on the dog n bone wi the boy at Skinners in Bonnie Dundee the day. He reckons Aprilia have only jist given the dealers the sales codes tae actually order some demo bikes up. Says Aprilia are still tryin tae get awe the DEMO bikes oot an in dealers shop windaes by end April or early May....
.....Two models tae pick frae he says...standard V4R an the full APRC whitever it is called wi awe the doodahs version. Still hadn,t been advised firm prices yet tho but reckoned 10.5K as a starter for the basic and 11.5K fur the fancy yin.....tells me hes ordered one o each for demonstrator.......
.....an the demos will only be in black colour scheme at first....

Hi all again, im still here. Still no del date for Diavel. Still thinking that if V4 demo turns up before Duc and i fit it and like it i might still go Aprilia way. After reading mcn test sounds like its the dogs doodars, not that i take much notice of those twats, and im falling for the black/yellow. Anyway where else am i going to fit my V4 TUO plate.?????? Answers on a post card. I cant decide if im indecisive or not, and im sure you lot are thinking what a w****r make ya bloody mind up. Orig i ordered a tuono from G Whites then went on the DVLA REG Site found the plate then wait wait wait for some news on poss del date. But then i rode my mates Diavel. So thinking i will get it sooner i ordered a red one NO DEL DATE COS ITS Red Borrox. Begining june im off to Europe if iv got a bloody bike. So im under pressure as have to run it in then find luggage to fit then ..600ml service. If im honest i do favour the tuono but not enough that if the ducati turns up first im not willing to delay the order till the tuo turns up, cos that will mean waiting for another red one as quite a few people are waiting for the red model. Had a quick raz on one of the Diavel's last night, not a bad bike but wouldnt swap the T for one. Like Pia said too completely different bike compared to a T even though im comparing an older one.
Also had a go on the new Monster 1100 evo, Never rode a monster before, well not one with 2 wheels and really liked it.
Id go for one of those as a second bike if i had a spare 10k !!!
