first of hello from the sunny northeast.
i am intrested to know if any other member has put a deposit down on the Tuono v4,i put mine down the start of december. the imfo from the dealer and aprilia is slow to say the least but the wait is going to be wroth it.

England, 30 miles south of Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Put my deposit down at a shop in Carlisle and have heard nothing since, don't know when the bike is coming in, hopefully April but I'm just guessing.
The only thing I know for sure is if the bike is over 12k I can have my deposit refunded as that is my limit.

I,ll drop the sales boy at oor nearest Prilly dealer, way doon Sooth in Dundee, a quick email tae see what hes sayin. Last time (Dec) ah wiz in he was tryin tae get me tae sign up for the V4 T an said delivery wid def be March for the first wave of supply and at a lower intro price. All bollox i suspct.

Will see what hes sayin an post up here for info

i sore your post [opening offer] and rang the dealer to ask what gadgets the aprc v4 T had on it as that is the 1 i am after .the lad said he would find out next time he spoke to the aprilia rep and let me know, but i.ve heard nowt since. am not blamein the dealer as he's a good bloke .
the waiting is almost unbearable.
 
ah mailed the sales dude Sev at Skinners the other day. He couldn,t tell me when ANY V4 Ts were likely tae be available or even what the final spec will actually be, an wiz a wee bitty cagey when ah asked if he,d taken any deposits doon fur one yet as weell...

looks like am just gana have to sit tight and wait and hope the v4Tr comes with the APRC as the MCN would have us belive, the lack of imfo makes me wounder if all is well with this model.
a mate told me Aprilia are waiting for the money exchange rate to change. ? whatever that means.
 
This is from a bike journalist who asked Aprilia Uk the same questions last month.

Just got on to Aprilias PR dude and he tells me the V4 is due to land here in April.

Price is £10495 for non APRC and £11495 for Full Fat APRC

it looks like no one eles on the forum has been tempted to part with there money for the v4T. I know alot of people think she looks like a pig and is on the small size with is a small concern as im 6ft 2 but i fit on most bikes as im built like a racein snake.
 
wiz excited by the V4T as first bit huv decided a wid be hard pushed tae find anything better, fun and fast, and wi as much character as ma Gen2. So decided tae jist keep fettlin and addin bitties and keep a haud o it fur some time yet.
 
excited is the word,i will post up any news i get on final spec and price when i get it. with a bit of luck the bike mag lads will get there hands on it soon and fill us in.
tis march tomorrow, not to much longer to wait but am not gana hold me breath .
 
sales guy at George Whites told me yesterday that they are expecting their V4Ts (6 of them apparently, including one demo) in a "few weeks" ... but that could still mean anything ... and obviously you can't trust a sales patter anyway

sorry to say but i still have no news. i rang the sales lad up on monday but he had heard nothing,he hoped to have a confirmed price for me this week but he,s not been back to me .
Bandito, was the price u got for the standed model or the 1 with the gizmos.
i knew it was a good idea not to hold me breath.
FFS just a small bit of solid imfo would help pass the time.
 
dont hold your breth to long you guys that have orderd the V4 they havent been bilt yet, I wood have thort as the dealers are onley now just getting the larst of the 30 Just bilt V'60 Tuonos , now thats it and they are selling for under £7000:bawling , aprilia are allways at least two munths later with there new models comeing out . but I am shour they will be well warth the wate :thumbup.

Hi all just found this site and have joined up. No deposit paid yet to George White swindon but as soon as new v4 announced went on to dvla website and found Reg No V4TUO Available grabbed it and if i get decent offer for my 09 tuono fac will place it on bike. Was also lucky enough to get reg no S100RRS. Still have it on retention but cancelled order after going on demo. Great bike but done nothing to me looks and paint job wise. like making love to an ugly butt female. so now its down to two bikes. Just rode back from trowbridge to swindon on my mates Ducati Diavel OH MY GAWED Set to touring mode for running in. he come along side me on my tuono and told me to open it up Shhhhhiiiii t was i impressed So now its down to seeing and demoing the v4 then i make choice. anyone know a s100rrs owner who want the other plate contact me and if i decide to go the ducati route V4 TUO WILL BE for sale. grumpy ol git

What a dilemma you have, why do they make so many nice bikes, too many choices but im happy with the rsv and tuono v2's for now
 
ahh the ducati dave......

it may go like stink.
but imo its one of the most butt fuckingly ugly bikes i,ve seen in years..

now doubt will appeal to the harldy and V-max chaps, which says it all really.
