Have been looking on fleabays at the 'cheap' ones from Hong Kong, a few different brand names but seem similar in build. Looked at the negative feedback on these sites and most seem to come from state side where mainly products have not arrived.A few gripes from us Brits about parts quality but no 'levers' mentioned, in fact found a few good feedback results about how good the levers are, so will be thinking in investing in some gold shorties for my ape:thumbup

bought some of the black shorties ill let you know what they are like when they arrive!.

Thanks for all the advice:thumbup

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the levers on a RSV and on an RSVR, as I bought a short lever off ebay that had come from a mille, but it doesn't fit my R model?

And I now can't sell it on either, as I have no idea what it's for!

Is it a clutch lever

The older rsv;s and all tuono's have different lever to the rsvr and factory

Post a pic and we can tell you what it is

i think the brake levers are all the same though

No, it's a brake lever.

Here are some pics, any help you can give would be much appreciated.

That is neither a 08 tuono or an 08 rsv brake lever

What year is your bike?

That actually looks like a ducati lever like was on the wifes tnt and if anything it would be off a pre 04 rsv/mille

There is always some confusion over what a mille is with peeps calling any rsv a mille but really they were pre 04 bikes so that may be your problem

If you look in the above photos you will see a brass coloured barrel, both my tuono and rsv have that barrel although they are different levers also

Thanks for coming back to me on this.

My bike is an 03 rsv-r, and it doesn't fit. I have a brembo master cylinder, but I've no idea if the standard mille has that too?

Sorry cant help you anymore something has went wrong along the way

maybe the old mille owner had to change the master cylinder to a ducati one for some reason

got a set n i can tell u they r mint as a sceptic my self i pulled em pushed em the only thing i didner do is whack em with a hammer (just in case i hit me baby )took em of inspected em n nowt mint mint mint f==k pazzo for all i no they r made in same place ????????????????????????/

shame these dont come in carbon effect. How much hassle is it to replace the OE ones with these? anyone done a mod guide on changing leavers on their bikes?

tony

Asuming u got spaners one nut holds em on but to b on the safe side pal phone a friend

here we go, there are issues with fitting, the standard levers are 11.92mm thick where the holding bolt fits were these are 12.1mm so they need a little bit of filing to reduce the size by 0.1mm i know thats not much but it stops them sticking.
