Hi all ive tried using search for this answer but lots of different answers.
im under the impression ive got leave it 24hrs before attempting to start after fixed is this correct or can i try it see if starts and then leave it 24hr?? thank you

wait a few days for the answer ! that should help lol.

This stuff is used by industry, can you imagine ford having to wait a day to use the newly made vehicles ? 20,000 cars in the car park lol.
You can use it straight away , the pressure in the nut being tightened cures the locking agent instantly.

Based on ambient temps of 80deg faren it dries enough to fix in about 5 mins but takes 24 hours to cure to max strength. That is the manufacturer figures for it.

With all these anti slip treatments they wont work unless its torqued up correctly. If the parts undo on the first use something else is wrong. These loctite products are excellent over long periods, the parts without the loctite would undo over 1000 start up cycles. This is why the product wont undo in the first few uses. Thats why ford, bmw know the products work immediately, and long term.
