I thought the CSA was for ensuring the child fathered was backed up financially by the father.
If you dip your wick and father a child then you should be prepared to pay for it.

The ONLY reason that my ex wife went to the CSA was because she was advised to by her solicitor when we were getting divorced, on the grounds that if I left the house to my ex wife (which I did, in its entirety), then any mortgage company would consider a CSA income as calculable for the purposes of obtaining a mortgage. So, in other words, it enabled my wife to re-mortgage the house, and have my name taken off it, which was what we BOTH wanted.
That was the only reason, and had nothing to do with me not paying for my kids.
It`s a very emotive subject, this one hector, for dads like me and B/spider, who DO care about our kids, which is why B/s has reacted like he has........
