A nice clean 2003 model Aprilia RSV for sale. Like many other owners on here I really don't have enough time, or enough nice weather, to justify keeping it. I bought the bike in late 2010 and have used it less than 2500 miles.
Although this is the standard model, not an RSVR, the logbook shows the model as an RSV1000R because this bike was originally built for sale to Japan. It, and about 49 other bikes were never exported and were diverted, by Aprilia, to the UK market to satisfy the demand. Other than the JJ stamp on the country code label it is identical to the 2003 UK model. This link explains more: http://apriliarsv.com/pictures/16733-my-2003-mille.html
First registered (new) on 22/03/2003, 03 plate. Bike has 19896 miles on the clock. It is currently SORN. Loads of service history - last done 500 miles ago (plugs, filters, oil and more), full brake strip and clean (with new seals, stainless banjo and caliper half bolts and pads on front). Valves checked at 13k. Tyres are Bridgestone BT021 and both have a useable amount of tread remaining. Front=6mm Rear=5mm (both approx). DID gold X ring chain (done approx 6.5k). Original toolkit included (might be a couple of items missing).
Bodywork and frame is in excellent condition with no dents or scuffs. There is one small scuff on the plastic part of right hand mirror, some small scratches on the tank and the usual small stone chips on the front fairing.
MOT valid until 20 May 2014. (no advisories)
Lots of 'essential' extras/upgrades:
HID Dipped Beam (5000K)
Pyramid DB Screen
150A Starter solenoid
Unibat battery CTZ14BS (fitted new in mid 2012)
Carbon Dash Top
Clear Rear Light Lenses
Side Stand Mod
Killaprilla Heavy Duty Solenoid, Starter and Earth Leads
.40 Clutch Oil Jet
Oberon Clutch Slave (fitted new in mid 2011)
Early Model LH Switch Gear (unlike the standard 2003 switch this has a proper light switch and the indicator switch in the right place, above the horn button):

Main/Dipped together mod (the diode method described here:
http://apriliarsv.com/guides/5102-dipped-beam-wiring-mod-old-new-switch-types-2.html)
Renthal front (16) and rear (44) sprockets (done approx 6.5k)
Full set of crash bungs:

R&G Cotton Reels
Spare Varta battery
No timewasters please. No test rides unless full price in cash in my hand.
Price is £2250 (will include Abba copy stand shown in the pictures if the price is right).
I use an Acumen Titanium V&A Smart Battery Charger, described here: (Product Reviews). The leads are currently attached to the bike. If you want the charger it’s available for a reasonable price, if not I’ll remove the leads.
PM me if you are interested. More photos available if required. Also available in original size (about 8MB each)
Pictures (no comments on the weeds on my drive please)
