As an elderly (50 this year) rider who has been biking all my life, I was wondering what all this fuss about active steering that I have been reading about in mags.
Dont get me wrong, I have never been slow round the bends, its just I have been using the "lean it over & look well ahead"...
any ideas on how this fits on,got it with the bike be aswell to stick it on,i think it goes on bottom yolk somehow not sure which way it faces or if there is any special bolts clips it needs to fix on..

I recently got an 07 RSV r haven't really had time or weather to ride it yet just wondered if anyone has an opinion on weather or not to get a steering damper as this model doesn't have one standard and the factory does. What you reckon.

Hi, just bought a 58 plate rsv. Pick it up on saturday. Is it worth getting a steering damper. I live in Lincolnshire and some of the roads are quite bumpy even in my car.

I had a good polish of the bike yesterday and noticed the steering damper seems loose/ has a lot of movement. Is this normal? In 20 years of biking never had a steering damper so no idea?

Got my Mille r on Saturday and after a few miles i think i have a problem with the steering. The symptoms are the front end seems to weave as though the front wheel bearings are gone can also feel a clunking though the bars over bumps. Had the wheel off tonite and the bearings seem fine bolted...
ISR are making a hub centre steering kit:drool, no word on the price, but you can bet it ain't cheap.
I love ISR's stuff but can't afford any of it.
