ok i cant find it but i'm sure i heard something about a 04-07 fireblade sidestan bolting straight on with no need to modify apart from in needing to be shorter..is this true or what else can i do to get rid of the poxy standard one

got my new front stand for my 02 rsvr and dont see a good way to get it up. Its one that connects to the bike between the forks up above the fender. Problem is, I dont see anything that will accept a 27mm diameter pin as suggested by the dealer. Only possibility is a hole that is maybe 10mm...

is is just me or are the side stands on rsv's pretty pants, parked mine with a little bit of wind bike was rocking thought it was gonna fall over, so had to put it inside out of the elements :) is there a way of improving the side stand ??? cheers

I see this has been brought up a few times, by the sounds of it, since the beginning of time. BUT, could someone explain do you have to have ohlins front & rear to fit or will a cbr side stand fit straight to a non factory without much difficulty. :banghead
