Hi guys bought a 2002 Mille today the bikes rear sprocket is slightly worn and I asked the dealer to replace front and rear plus fit new chain, dont know what tooth front is but should I be asking him or making sure he fits ??? how many teeth, and what size rear to match. I think I remember...
Daer All,
Firts of all I'm glad to be part of this forum and i would like to thank you the "inventor" for it!
I own an RSV4 Factory and next week I'll take part at the SuperStock Championship of Malaysia.
I'm looking everywhere for a front Sporcket with one down for my RSV4, i went looking...
Can anyone confirm which way the front sprocket fits? I'm pretty sure the wider boss faces the engine and the bolt goes up against the narrow one but somehow it doesn't look right and sits proud of the engine casing. I'm sure this is right as the chain lines up with the wear marks on the...
Well my bike is off the road now!
took the bike to work today and I could hear a nice crunching noise! :dunno
When I got home tonight I thought I best check the noise out and give the bike a polish :)
On inspection, I have found I have striped off a number of teeth fromt he rear spocket! Great...

Been having a look around at the best sprocket size set up for the Tuono, whos got an opinion? I guess a 15T on the front seems to be the advised one but what would the best rear be in relation to that also if a 16T is fitted what about the rear. Appreciate your views.
Cheers
hi guys,
i dont post much but would appreciate you input into this.. i have just paid 420 for a full service 18000 miles..when the bike returned i notice that the rear is missing 1 bolt and one is well loose..these bolts hold studs which hold the sprocket in place as far as i can see, and can...
Aye up,
Still laid up with the old broken leg so got me a 15t front sprocket to fit, but can anyone point me in the direction of a how to? or mind writing a quick one? i've looked in the how to section and couldnt see one but it seems a pretty common mod
cheers guys
I've had a look around the forum regarding changing the front to a 15T. Does it make that much difference and if so what would I gain over the original set up??
Any advice would be great.:cheers
Hi.
Am getting a new exhaust, Hopefully Tuesday when it gets delivered and unleash the sound of the V-Twin.
I know the exhaust might make a few bhp diffrent from the massive exhaust thats on now, But i want alittle more grunt.
I see people get a diffrent front sprocket but i need to know a...
had my bike about 3wks... running on a standard 17T... riding around London... 15-30mph... was a nightmare... complete utter nightmare... took my bike too FWR in Kennington during my lunch break... they swapped the sprocket over in about 10mins... plus they made sure my rear wheel was aligned...
Anyone got a 16 tooth 525 pitch front sprocket laying around that's in good condition or better?
Fitment for a 2001 Mille please?
I believe the Renthal part number is 407-525-16 but any make will suffice for my purpose.
I bought a Renthal hard anodised rear sprocket last week and had it fitted with a new chain. Later that day I saw a bike fitted with a Supersprox Stealth sprocket and fell in love. :inlove So I now have a spare sprocket I don't need which has covered less than 50 miles. Cost me £35 with...
I had a new chain and rear sprocket put on by my local dealer on Saturday. The rear sprocket is a bronze coloured hard anodised Renthal which I thought would be fine until I saw a bike fitted with a sexy Supersprox rear sprocket. Bottom line is that I have now ordered a Supersprox and I wondered...
I've had a search back through the forums but can't seem find the answer to my problem so i'll risk it and ask again(probably not looking hard enough!)
bought a new set of nuts for the rear sprocket on my 2000 rsv as the old ones are really chewed up and don't appear to be the originals,new...
