Using the principal of "slow bleeding" ie putting prolonged pressure on the leaver I seem to have cures the age old problem! Well for now, but its easy enough to do on a weekly basis I took a 5l can of screen wash full and some old small metal disc weights and looped them together using cable...

Simple question is why are there so many types advertised and is there really any difference? I'm not a racer I just use the bike for weekend scratching. So is cheap really poor quality or is the expensive just a marketing gimmic?

So following on from my efforts to sort the rear brake out. How much travel in average have you guys got on the pedal? I have about 3 inches before I get solid pressure. Which makes it awkward to brake effectively.
