Well having a bit of a brain fart .
my mate is selling his v4 t now i have rode it liked it and fancy buying it
But really like my gen 2 so question is any of you went from gen 2 to v4 and regretted it .
options are
1 buy his and sell gen 2 .
2 buy his keep mine pushed for garage space at the mo but just about doable but extra insurance ect.
3 forget v4 and keep mine .but v4 is keep popping up in my thoughts bugger

Option 4: keep gen 2 and also get something else completely different - dirt bike etc.

a would do but ive got 5 bikes at the mo hence the garage space problem got drz 400 for green laning

As I I've said wife offered to buy me the new V4 factory , I said you don't realise how brilliantly fast mine is . 15/42 + chain waiting to go on too

I had an 06 gen2 for six years, the longest I've ever owned a bike ( and I've had a few!) and regretted selling it
Now got a 14 aprc and the V4 every time for me.

Well Have been out on the gen2 all afternoon loved every min of it came home washed and dried her but sitting here and cant get v4 out of me head decided gen 2 is going and v 4 in its place if i regret it i will kick my own arse and look for another gen 2

you wont regret it, I have got and still love my Gen2, bought a v4 Factory and kept the twin, every time I lift the garage door the v4 comes out but I still cant part with the twin. They are so similar but 2 totally different riding experiences imo. If you can, keep both, if not and you do regret it I may sell mine next year :thumbup
