What. The. ****.

Picked up my (almost) new (to me) Tuono today, and Jesus H. Christ........this is the finest motorcycle I have EVER had the pleasure to throw a leg over !!!!!

YEEEEEHAAAAAAAA !!!

I absolutely LOVE IT !! The fantastic torque, the pin-sharp handling, the noise, the looks, the build quality...........even the bloody mirrors work !! WTF is going on; this is a brain-out performance machine that is the most fun that you can have with your clothes on, and the bloody mirrors work !!

Collected "Mr Tuono" just after lunch today, and the weather has been perfect all day. Only managed to do about 40 miles, as I had to be home to pick up the rugrat from school, and tonight I wanted to give it a bit of a clean/polish.

Anyway, here`s a couple of (crap) pics taken in iffy light........

noice boike, like the black wheels
oh yeah, u'll have to use to the big fcuking grin every time you ride the T!!!!!!!!!!

Do you want some akrapovic cans for it?

Oh indeedy Wiskin; unfortunately they`re going to have to wait, as I`ve just laid out enough on this baby, plus not to mention the feckin` insurance **** Turpins fleecing me !

so, the mirrors work then...

i,m so pleased...

that one bonny bike there fella..

why oh why do the factories have to have a wanksock frame colour...... that looks the dogs..

Same colour as mine - the fastest as evry fule know.

Cracking bike - enjoy mate :thumbup

Looks sweet Dex, enjoy dude.

I felt exactly the same about the T after coming from the RSVR. All the bits I loved about the RSVR still their, the bits I didn't (mirrors, riding position etc...) are gone!

Wow, cheers gents; many thanks for all the kind replies ! :thumbup

Been out again today on the beast, and I simply cannot believe how good this bike is, and how it can ever be bettered by Aprilia, even though they apparently have with the new T V4 ?

Funny, but even after 3 months back into biking on the Fazer, I`m already leaning over MUCH further on the T, than I ever was on the Fazer........no chicken strips left on the rear tyre, just have to get rid of them on the front now.....:biggrin

The T is honestly in a different league compared to the Fazer (which I`m not knocking, as it IS a good bike), but you can tell that one is an out-and-out sportsbike (minus the fairing), and one is just a watered down compromise of a sportsbike (R1).

I honestly think the other manufacturers missed a trick here, as there must be loads more peeps out there like me; ie: older gits that have always had sportsbikes, still want one, but can`t hack the aches and pains ?

With that in mind, the manufacturers should stop "detuning" (watering down) great sportsbikes, and just do what Aprilia did instead...........change the looks a bit, and stick some higher bars on.............job sorted !

Anyway, in the meantime, we can just rejoice in the fact that ONLY Aprilia have had the sense (bollox) to do this, and produce this amazing, amazing bike that we ride ! :roost:cool2
