I subscribe to a couple of forums and messages like this make me forget which one I'm on:confused

Those Tl's are lush. A guy I know has an awesome one that he is rebuilding after crashing it. F*cked himself right up. Had to have one of his nuts cut off coz it basically "died" after the crash.:dowhat

Don't matter what bike you have got, just so long as you got a bike. I take the piss out of a couple of mates with hondas cos they have got linked brakes:thatsgay I tell them not only do we Aprilia riders not need linked brakes but Aprilia decided to do away with the back brake entirely:biggrin:D All good bikers banter.

Don't get this thing with Aprilia rear brakes :confused mine works great - miles better than the TL or my old VFR for that matter :dowhat I feel like I'm missing out - I'll smear some chip fat on it :devious that should do it :biggrin

Quality response Tantrum. Still, I guess it takes all sorts. If you didnt intend the way you post was percieved then , perhaps you should make yourself a little clearer in your communication. If, however, it is simply that you cant bear to have your posts commented upon then maybe you should use PM to trade insults.

Any how Ive got better things to do than clash swords with you when you are so obviously short in the weaponary dept! Now thats sarcasm

pj's got a very nice new steed to suit his needs at this moment in time,and im sure he'll miss his mille and be back on one soon as poss :pirateor he'll fall in love with the tls and never look back,either way were all like minded bikers who love bikes.:inlove

Personally PJ i would have sold one of those nice money laden cars on the drive and kept the aprilia and before anybody says anything thats nothing against TL's

Cant belive you got that TL for no money, I just sold mine for £2.8k... it was a minter tho with some trick bits.. but wow... Cosmic. :thumbup

Also I got really bugged by some of the knob jocks on TLzone, I left. :jack

Pick up my O6 Tuono when I get back from my tour... Very excited...:doug

Great news Flick, i can understand your excitement. A sweet ride to pickup indeed..ya won't pick up a ride like that from ya local pub at closing time! :biggrin
 
:biggrin My attempt at changing the tone of this post...lets all play nicely in the sandpit lads...if ya got 2 wheels to ride then ya should all be happy i rekon, regardless of the breed of steed. OK OK, well nearly any breed, as some choose the ol 2 wheeled piece of farming equipment! :thumbup

Funny you should mention it though - I went to see my panel yesterday and it's now YELLOW :doug he wanted me to check it was OK before putting the final finish on it. Should have it back in a few days.

I asked him about spraying yours black and the look of relief on his face that you didn't want yellow was hilarious :biggrin he said he's going to mail me this weekend with a quote for you.

I got talking about bikes with him and turns out he used to ride a FZR600 some years back. After seeing and hearing our RSV's he's gotten the bug again and now wants a TL of all things :biggrin
