Sorry in advance if I have upset anyone who owns a TL or has owned one in the past or ever seen one in real life or a magazine :dunno
A TL is a far superior machine in all respects and I wish with all my heart that I hadn't sold mine and bought this second rate 'pizza delivery machine' RSV that I have now.
There now - are you TLZoner's who are upset at my post happy now :dunno
Can we now get on with enjoying the bikes we have chosen and not descend into 'who has the best bike' crap which was the reason I left the TLZone in the first place :biggrin

I have gone over to the other side, I am having a few problems with cash flow and have had to put my baby up for sale, I have bought the TL as it will put about £3k in my very sick bank account, I hope it is a temp measure and I can return to the fold when cash flow improves. Until then I am still on two wheels

Someone commented on TLzone that news of my purchase has not gone down well over here :O I think Tantrum took it as an attack on him I guess

Picked her up tonight and shes tucked up in my garage, I wobbled home as the clutch cover has a really bad leak and the tyre was soaked, other than that she is mint, I have taken a few pics before I put her to bed.
Brakes are a bit poor, I almost straight lined a roundabout :lol
Should not take too long to get used to.

Sorry PJ it's just a touchy subject with me. I got a lot of nasty comments and PM's on the TLZone when I bought my RSV and left because of it.
What started this tread off was my nephew was bidding on the TL you've just bought - well I was bidding on his behalf as he doesn't have an ebay account. He saw your post on the TLZone about buying it and didn't understand as he was the highest bidder. I contacted the seller and he confirmed he'd sold it - I said I was a bit annoyed as it was still listed - then he went on to explain that the bike was a right old dog and I was better off not winning it :dunno
My nephew saw the comment about the negative response on the RSVZone to your purchase and mentioned it to me hence my 'outburst' - it just hacks me off when this 'my bike is better than yours' crap goes on.
Oh and Sabre shut up :jack
