Who has got the RSV with the highest miles

Bought mine Mid November 2007 with 950 miles on it. Just under 6200 at the moment. I imagine it will be around 12k by the end of the year, that's what I did last year.

As CK says, why have them if you're not going to use them? Mine was 2 months old and second hand with the above mileage. If people want to put so little miles on them it benefits me as I don't mind second hand and love not paying all that tax.

i think 19,475 miles for a 06 plate is not a bad effort:dunno but there again i do use it:thumbup

Hi guys, I am new to this site, just thought I would let you know I have an 03 with 44.5k on it, the engine has a ticking sound which I think is the rear tappets, I will pull the rocker covers of after the summer, the bike runs great apart from the ticking noise at tickover.
The Bike is fitted with an Arrow can,K+N Airfilter Plus a Power commander, I have had the bike from new and changed the oil+filter every 4k, I have no problems what so ever with this bike and I look forward to another 40k?

Welcome. To have a bike for that many miles from new makes you a very unique breed.

17.5K on mine at the mo, put about 400 on in last week or so

I picked up mine in February with 17000 on the clock. After sorting the problems caused by a ******* past owner it hasn't let me down once. I've just returned from a 1500 mile trip to southern France and it know has 21000. So far so reliable.

He had a rubbish battery in it and the loom was full of the worst bodges you ever saw in your life. I've been meaning to put up a post about with pics for a while. Oh and the head bearings were barely finger tight.

Good idea put up the post.

Reason I asked is because my bikes previous owner was a ****** as well. He had sheared the front mud guard nuts off, and araldited it to the suspension forks.
