whits aw hoor payin fir insurance

Why aren't you buggers saying who the insurers are? It'd help poor buggers like me being who are dry bummed for 300 quid cause I live on the outskirts of Gunchester. M29.
15 yrs younger than Garry, full n/c and no points either.

Well out of desperation I used 'Go Compare'! When I swapped from an XT current insurer didn't want to know. Ended up with a company called Wicked Quotes. I know I didn't think they were real too. However they are and that quote was miles better than the others which were coming up £300+.

When I was sorting it over the phone I was asked "Has the bie been modified in any way, including after market exhausts?"

The lady stressed the importance of being accurate and told me there was no difference to the cost of cover for non-standard exhausts.

I replied "It will have but I haven't bought them yet ... should I say yes now ... or wait until they are fitted and then have an amendment?

She went away to check ... and said I should declare standard for now, then ring up to have the policy amended ... which would cost £25 !

Wind the conversation abck 5 mins I said, and ask me the question about modifications again

"Has the bike been modified in any way including after market exhausts?"

"Yes" I replied, "It has after-market exhausts"

£25 less taken out of my beer fund!!

Silverstorm - it's nice to know I'm not the only one with Wicked Quotes ! By far the cheapest for me by a distance.
