Your right about one good thing aboot being in ya forties Sean........just renewed my insuance on the T £100 fully comp with protected no claims......well pleased.

Compare that to my 17yr old son just passed his test with a Saxo 1.4.....£3000:eek::eek::eek:

£190 fully comp on my always garaged '10 plate Tuono. 45, clean licence, havn't made a claim in over 20 years....
 
I think the fact I live in the middle of Bristol pushes my premiums up. Mind you it's me (push)bikes I worry about most, Bris is the capital of mountain bike theft, partly 'cos there's a huge mountain bike / cycling scene here.
 
£225 For Tuono ,Street Triple and DR Big 750 , fully comp ,protected NCB. and everything else £ 250 excess.

Mine was just over £250 this year.That was for 3 bikes.the T and two Brit clunkers.Fully comp but 9 points on my licence at the time.
I'm 50 next week and I've lost 6 points,so I'm hoping the insurance will be a wee bit cheaper next year.

i was £145 fully comp insurance is so much better if you stay away from the supersports tuonos are more fun

and me 220 tpft and im bastarding 44, its cause the little ***** nicked my hornet 6 then the replacement bandit 12 , and both were chained to ground anchors.. i have since built myself a bike bunker,concrete walls,steel door and linked to the house alarm, it had better get cheaper soon..
 
3 Grand for a Paxo made me (swear to god) chuff my cider all over the keyboard. I have 2 x kids and the eldest at 16 is already bleating on about her mates having cars
 
Newelly you better get saving, young un's having lessons they want 2500 grand for one of those 1.1 fiats thats worth 1 grand, no wonder loads of em dont bother...
 
£75 fully comp with full no claims. £450 excess.

That's for a 2nd bike on the same policy as the Ducati 748 though. The Ducati is higher risk.
