Hi all,

need two new tyres! diablo Corsas on at the minute but only had the bike a short while so don't know if there is anything better on the market?

I only use the bike for short blasts at the weekend,no track days, very rare I take the T over 150 miles on a trip.

Your advive is welcome.

Thanks.

I don`t go far either due to commitments at home and I use PC2 Michelin. A good reliable tyre in wet or dry conditions. You will get a good report for the Corsa`s also but I have not used them.

Thanks, I will give them some consideration. I have since phoned the dealer and been advised to go for a harder tyre. They recommended a new michelin tyre although I have forgotton the name if it. Said there were two corsas and new harder version any idea what that might be??

Michelin PC2 are hard in the middle as you do more miles upright. Wait for more feedback on other makes

I am gonna get diablo corsa 3 next time. Dual compound in 3 zones. Should wear nice and evenly and give all the grip required.

The old style Corsas are made out of ground-up hockey pucks imported from Canada, I think. Hard and tractionless. I recommend the 2CT, but the new Corsa 3 is supposed to be decent and the BT016 is an excellent tire too... all of them have excellent wear characteristics and soft shoulders.

And as much as I hate the old Corsas, I'm using SuperCorsas on my 200hp track bike with good effect. I think Pirelli have come a long way in sport tires recently.

My T came with Metzelers. To be frank, they've been faultless.

I had Dunlop Qualifiers front and back - nice and sticky, but only managed 800 miles from the back one - front is still perfect. I have gone for a Dunlop Roadsmart on the back (triple compound) and this combination seems to work well. I'm always more wary(frightened?) of losing the front than the back.

Thanks for teh help guys. Ended up wiht Corsas again! better the devil you know I guess!!

Thanks again
