Hi guys..i know we on the other side are in your eyes dog ***** by comparrison.but help me out here.
I got a 08 tuono, but fancy having the choice of riding positions.(nearly purchased a gixer thou this week).

I,m keeping the tuono but wondered which is the best millie (what year),to have.

Suzuki,s k6 is the 1 to have.(which millie?? And at what cost).

me biased too, but the early models had a bit more torque and less smooth than the later ones so feel gruntier.

I stand alongside CK's comment here...i am rather attached to the early shaped Mille...and it may be my imagination, but i feel there are far less niggly little problems with the earlier ones...being so biased tho i may well be out of line here. New model owners plz forgive my ignorance as i know no better.

depends on how much you want to spend

04 onwards looks miles better, but doen't necessarily perform better.

factory bits are bling in both cases, but not necessary for road as standard bits are just as good

although a lot of people buy standard then spend years on ebay trying to put extra bits on

choice is individual, but if i had the choice, then after my 04 Factory i'd go for an 08 black factory

as said,i prefer the looks of the newer one,not that the old uns not luvly cos it is,the newer uns just that bit more update and sharp looking.
but id never give up the room on he older bike or value for money cos as said above
theres no difference in performance, ecept a bit more torque from the old one!
whats an 06 gixer fetching,about £5500?
you should get a VERY VERY nice old shape and change for that or a decent early new shape.
theres a gorgeous factory at my local cmc in chesterfield for around that money,
done up in the race rep colours,it looks gorgeous, white and ms,with gold oz wheels and akrapovic cans.
ill try and get a link for it mate, not far from donny.

its not showing pics of it yet, theyve just got it in,but theres this one on there web site dude, nice stealthy black....

old one all the way for me , more character and more full on, been on a few new shape and no thanks if someone offered me a brand new 08 for mine i wouldn't have it ....(remember only my opinion no hate mails please:lol)
have to wait and see what the v 4 is like!
have to say all the journalists say the new one is outdated and i have to say they are talking *****! mille's are one of the best looking machines out there!
at the end of the day it is personal opinion and personal choice but i think the older one is a full on riders bike the newer is softer and smoother .

Old shape for me too, again as said above. a bit more grunt to the old shape. on the back wheel with no clutch etc unlike new uns.
