I hope we have some sunny weather on a week end before the end of the year.

It would be good to get a few on the North East members out on a run.

Is it worth planning a date in the not to distant future that we can commit to & keep our fingers crossed for some dryness.

Dark nights are sneaking up.

i am sure that after this weekend we can plan another run out (the forecast for Saturday has improved), however there are 2 things we are not in control of:
1 the weather
2 forum members participation
also dont forget there is the Keswick run that has been planned on the other chanel in September, i will be going over for the day on Saturday the 8th and will start a post soon to try and drum up some interest from the North East members

Brooksy, you are a top grafta.

We will miss you when you sell up & buy something else.

weather update for Saturday is better, at the moment 30% chance of rain with some sunshine.
will check again in the morning then do a roll call :thumbup
if you are interested in joining us then pm your number and i will text people on Saturday morning if there are any changes to the plan :yes

Had the test rides yet Brooksy?
Was out today with a mate who has an old Fazer1000. Stopped in Hawes for coffee & B&E butty, noticed rear tyre was getting further down. When we stopped at Devils bridge, you could nearly see the steel belt. Ooops. Rang DIT in Sunderland & he had a pair of pilot road 2's in, so a steady ride back, and the steel belt was through. Ha ha, £250 worse off now.

Grin, test rides booked for the 28th as i am of work for the week so if you are at a loose end and fancy a run out that week drop me a text.
as for those tyres mate you were lucky the feds are all asleep during the week, you should have given me a ring as i have a set of part worn Dunlop 208rrs in the garage for use in emergencies. never mind they will go on mine in a couple of months.

I'll try and remember that date mate.
Was just thinking about tomorrow, weather still a bit iffy, but could change. It could be just as easy for me to meet in Thirsk around 9am, its straight down the 19. If its raining or wet I'll bottle it, my skin goes even more wrinkly, so we cant have that.

just checked the weather and its good news bad news, the forecast is looking okay with a 20% chance of rain for most of the day however thats around the coast and inland is slightly worse so plan below:
Felix i will text you in the morning for a local update if thats okay
if the roads are dry in the morning i will be at Littlethorpe roundabout at 8 and will leave at 8>10
will head for Thirsk and plan to be there around 9:15
weather check at thirsk and if required change route and head for the coast as below
Helmesley, Scarborough, Whitby, pickering, helmesley

Watching the weather vid doesn't look too promising.:no
try watching Billy Elliot its a bit more uplifting :lol
just checked the hourly forecast on the met office app and its a 20% chance of rain from mid day
in my book thats a risk worth taking :yes i will bring some moisturiser for your wrinkles :lol

Good weather on the whole, good run, with good company..... Also learned how to make a T with a not so small rider occupy a space you wouldnt fit a 10yearold on a pushbike, thanks Mr landy driver..... managed to almost get home before the heavens opened too, happy times :)
