is it me or are we all hoping that aprilia are going to bring out a stonking rsv 1200 to compete with the newer models appearing on the market.
the mille we have currently is not far behind. my feeling is if they do? will it be better than the latest offering of the rc8 and 1098.? or it seems they are concentrating on the v4? when clearly there market is the v twin and always has been... i know there is no plans for the 1200 but surely they have to do this for the ardent mille fans:dunno

Mate I think they are focusing purely on the V4 to get back into WSB :confused but would love them to bring out a 1200 RSV to :pisser2 all over the Ducati 1098 and RC8 :lol:lol:lol

By the looks of it nobody has an opinion on it, id like to see a 1200 and would probably buy one over the V4 :thumbup:thumbup

I'd buy another v twin over a v4 never been on a v4 but i bought the aprilia for the characteristic of the v twin engine, shall we drink lots of stella then go sort em out

from what i hear that the mille will be a 1100 next year from what my local aprilla dealer said to me,they are bring out a new machine to be up there with ducati

i thought i read somewhere that they where ditching the rotax and building their own 1200 90 deg V twin which was going in the shiver first and then the RSVR.:dunno

Speaking with Forza the other day and they say there's nothing that they are aware of in the pipeline to replace the RSV. I certainly haven't read anything about a V-Twin to replace the RSV, the V4 seems like the lot at this time. Wouldn't want one of those, two to many cylinders!

I actually wrote to Aprilia UK and received an email basically saying that they won't tell mere customers anything and that any news would be via normal press releases. Makes sense I suppose :dunno
