Whats yer trade/job?

We I'm a master tech at VW its ok, its all getting a little political now as we've just been taken over so every day is a bit of a struggle not to punch some one in the face, you would think my job would involve fixing cars but the amount of paper work i have to do is getting stupid. Anyway rant over off for 3 weeks holiday now lol

i've been a chef for just over 13yrs since leaving college

Have thought of changing, but i'd take a hit in the salary, tips & such like

on me day/days off work, train/apprentice on bikes/cars as my second interest if i was to change from cheffing this is what i would like to get into

Studied business law at uni, decided law as a profession definately wasn't for me. Went back to my trusty summer hols job of removals to pay off the debts and landed up being offered to become the transport manager. Spent the next 14 years in transport in a combined operations/transport/personnel role. Saw through working in the industry the start of what is happening now re falling house prices/credit crunch and decided enough was enough and it was time for a time out. So sold my place before the housing market entered where it is now and have been taking a year out travelling about and generally having "time" before deciding what to do next when re-entering the real world :thumbup

Run a small team for a national distribution company selling into national housebuilder sector. Changed in July to doing this 3 days a week (you can imagine how thats going since the arse fell out of the market) and work with my wife in her retail business 3-4 days a week. On the whole the self employed side is a lot more enjoyable / flexible / rewarding, upside on employment is a certain pay cheque every month, nice car + expenses etc. Have tried to cut down a lot on travelling around country and staying away as after a couple of trips (and I've now done hundreds i reckon) the novelty wares very thin

We all cover some very interesting fields of training & very broad...xclnt! :thumbup

I know times is ard and the Credit crunch is hitting a lot of people so I thought I would offer my services to anyone on the forum. Now you can stop reading here if you want to or just tell me to bugger off but In my experience many people are paying way too much for everyday stuff like life assurance and mortgages - especially if you bought it through your bank. If I can save you money then thats more to spend on your bike.!!!!! This is a genuine offer so if you are interested then PM me.:thumbup

Im not touting for business, Im busy enough as it is...but if I can help I will.......what goes around comes around after all.
