Whats yer trade/job?

Worked for a well known japanese rally car company for 9/10 years.... goodtimes !

Now work with for a IT/web based company still within the Automtive industry...........BORING !
 
Been a drayman now for 10 years good money not a lot of hours before that worked in mainly Italy for 8 years driving and before that i was a Chef which was my choice of trade
 
Contracts manager for a building company, Take **** of the lads ,take **** from the boss, take **** off the cliants in one ear out the other £40k a year and take no **** when out on the Mille.
 
Holy mackrel, between us we cover a broad knowledge base of careers, jobs and interests....thanks for sharing mates, is always and interesting topic to know what others also do for so many hours in the working week. Now if we could just get as many hours on our bikes :)
 
Left school 4 year motor vehicle apprenticeship with ford, did an extra year after qualifying, then went to shell, 19 years process operator on shift. pay good time off even better.
 
Manager for a motor factor (sell car parts), took a year out of uni to do it and still here, still doing Open Uni though so can get my degree and still stay in this job, just to prove to myself i actually have a brain. Love my job and it pays the bills , few can say that :biggrin
 
Im currently in the security trade selling CCTV and the likes,then once ive finished there i have a change of custume then straight into a night porter at the hotel!

as of next year i will be starting my new job which will be "international man of mystery" :laugh

Once i return from my year of partying i will attempting to join the fire service whoop whoooop

St just seen ya sig "fuker" watch this space i will not be out done :laugh
 
144 yrrs military
5 yrs IT i'm MCSE trained so rana few neetworks including nuclear industry
never got my contract renewd so noe i'm doing a programmable electrical sytems engineer job
good money interesting job - longevity uncertain

Did 9 years in the Army after I left school , then realising career options were kind of limited for tank crewmen in civvie street joined the plods for 4 years, resigned from that for various reasons ( got called anti police and disruptive by my boss when I quit:devious :thumbup:nana ) then worked for the civil service as a junior manager, did some conservatory fitting , warehouse manager, driving instructor trainee and care work. Last job was working for the Job Centre. :jack

Just about to move and going to college 3 days a week to do an access course so I can go on and do a degree - and doing some care work to work around the course hours and pay the bills.

I teach people how to ride motorbikes, it's a pretty good job, but it really screws with your own riding though!!

Im an Independent Financial Adviser. If you need advice on Morgages/pension/Old SERPS stuff or life assurance or what to do with your lottery win.......Im you man.:pirate

But mostly I like to ride me bike.
 
Graduated out of Uni and got a job as an Applications Engineer for a Heavy Duty Turbo Manufacturer.

Involves turbo to engine matching, project dev from prototype specification to final Apps signoff, customer tech support, flying round the world (US, Brazil, China, Spain, France, India), getting paid well and having a dam good time.... 2 yrs in the job so far and I love it! :thumbup
