Thought i'd start a thread for those that want to reveal a little of what they do to pay the bills..or put fuel in our bikes for a fang :pirate

I have an A class unrestricted electrical licence which i completed while working for a high rise lift company.
Currently i am doing Electrical Contracting..which ranges from domestic to large commercial/industrial installations & maintain.
Electrical is my third trade certificate which i finished at uni @ age 41

I’m Technical Manager for a developer; I have to sort out all the planning applications, building regs submissions and all problems arising from site throughout the build.

I negotiate contracts (rates, allocations etc) with Spanish and Eastern Europe coach companies to provide touring service for our clients. The other part is ensure those contracts are implemeted and deal with problems on the road related to this product. (take ****):thumbup

Technician at Coca-Cola...Pay and perks are good..but jobs a bit boring :roll

Apprentice trained maintenance engineer and now have Electrical ONC and other electrical qualifications gained from my last job..

Was a textile engineer since school, but thats defunct with everything now made in China/Vietnam..Next time you buy a pair of £120 trainers, look at the label..50p to make.Who's the mugs..:dunno

Now doing a crappy job that's flexible enough to let me look after my lad and pay the bills, though can see a point where I'll be an hated benefit scrounger..

Was a time served welder but changed jobs of late, im now a male masseur in a local gay club, not been there long but the customers say i fit in nicely :thumbup:thumbup

I teach people how to ride motorbikes, it's a pretty good job, but it really screws with your own riding though!!

Prior to that, I worked in IT for years, but got fed up with the corporate bullsh** so took redundancy and decided to do something I really enjoyed.

Live in a quiet part of the middle east for a few months of the year and spend the rest in the humanitarian aid business (logistics) not a great line to be in but then again I am never out of work !

I'm the warranty claims manager for Mercedes-Benz warranty areas. :confused

I deal with all approved used warranty claims and Mobilo roadside assistance claims, I have around 30 staff, who all love to cause me no end of problems. :roll

Sounds like a really glamorous job working for Mercedes-Benz and yes it does have it perks, pay, car, pension etc..... But I have to spend many nights away on business and therefore miss my family and bike loads.

Before I took on this role I was a technician in the Armed Forces, when I left I went to TVR as a technician, also have experience with Honda, Vauxhall, Daewoo, Mercedes-Benz.

That's me! :pirate
