I would like to see a "tutorial" on Power commanders. IE Custom mapping. I know its a specialist thing but im not daft and i have a good understanding of motorcyle engineering. I think a lot of us could do more with these things than cross some technicians palm with £400 of our kids inheritance.
Hi All This is my first visit to the forum. I bought a new RSV1000R in ice white the end of last year. before buying it I test rode a 2006 Factory and I loved it. It felt wild and untamed, like it would take a while to learn how to ride. I like that challenge and thats why a bought a new RSV. I love my bike (its beautiful and handles great etc etc) but mine just doesn't have that animalistic feel and agression like the 2006 Factory I rode. SO...my question to you is...how do I go about getting more out of the engine, tuning wise. I ve put Arrow cans on it and a K&N filter so far.:biggrin
Any tips on getting the back wheel back in place after tyre change bin struggling by myself dare not ask the other half coz that will get messy with fraid tempers nd grazed knuckles !!!!!!!!!!
There are threads answering many of these queries on the site already. The problem is that people don't search for them but just repost the question instead. Perhaps the best derestriction thread, tyre pressures thread etc could be made stickies? Then there'd be no excuse for reposting. Just an idea.
I'd like to see a ' How to fit a FUEL Flow Meter on an RSV and get the data to a spreadsheet. >> The point of the exercise is to do a track day or two on a specific track using different gearing / rider / effect of short-shifting on fuel flow at certain points etc. This is to determain Best Fuel stop strategy for an endurance race on the same track.
