As mentioned by all others the main thing is you're doing fine mate. Sorry about the bike and hope you can restore it and get it back on the open road as soon as possible :thumbup

The irony is, I do have a sleeve tattoo and allthough I was wearing my gear, the asphalt ate through my jacket and started to work on my arm. It aint bad, just really annoying. So now I will have to go back and get some touch ups to my sleeve because it is going to scar! When I took my bandage off it had large traces of ink in it! Almost like a reverse image of my tat right there on the bandage.

The bike came with Michelins on it, I have never had any signs of break away before. But then again, I have never pushed quite so hard before either. It was very odd, everything was fine, I was holding her steady, then bam!!!! The tires gave and I was sliding like a fat girl on ice wearing high heels.

If it had been over here..I'd have said diesel..But don't know if you have the same problem in your neck of the woods..

remember that funnily enough on the hottest days you actually dont have as much grip as slightly colder days as the tarmac(not designed for hard cornering at our speeds) starts to heat up and spread(due to the temp) ...As I have found out. Cost me 1000 GBP to fix
Good luck getting her together mate and shop around for parts to make the best savings.
