Wales forum meet 7th April 2012

No mate should have enough bacon etc. Think there's only 5 of us and have plenty of pork sausages. Prob pop 5 sausages on and few rashers of bacon. If anyone wants a Fried egg I can do that as well.

All sorted this end but thanks for the offer

It was raining but not that much. Shame Newelly come off though before meeting us :(

Luckily it looks like only aches & pains but his bike is a bit nackered but rideable.

:lolI had a sterling day out (time for some emoticons to communicate my pleasure) :lol

Roads were a bit greasy, but there was plenty of dry patches to have some fun. The chaps are a jolly good bunch :thumbup and nice to meet you all. Shame I couldn't stay out tonight - I'm sure you'll all have a good one :cheers

thanks again Bay. :thumbup

Newelly hope it is all ok

Just got back, not Mick's day - I'm sure he'll be on here later to tell all.

We met him in Llandovery (me & bay), he'd already been done twice by the feds. First time speeding, second for his small plate.

We left bay in Brecon, and he got stopped twice more within about a mile of each other for the plate!

First time my sixth sense was tingling as I overtook a brown Volvo estate (nice stealth wagon coppers), so I took it really easy then on a really fast straight where I would normally be doing a tad over 60 I was doing 56. Mick overtook Volvo, lights on. As Mick is producing his ticket from earlier, I walk up to said copper. He says 'it looks like you clocked me, and wanted to go a lot quicker'.........No! Say I all innocent, not wanting to get too close as I was probably reeking of booze.

Unlucky Mick, it wasn't Newelly's day yesterday and not Mick's today :(

The ride back today was hellish - thought I'd never make it

My back, shoulder and knee are seizing up

Despite the off (3 miles before Crossgates meet-up yesterday morning) I have to say "THE" forum meet was a hoot! Great crack last night on the town with Bay, Stix, Gilo, ******, Garry, Mike and more hilarity this morning at Bays as he, Stix and Gilo regailed us with what they'd been up to until the wee small hours.

Many funny quotes including

"**** sake - it's mulled wine"
"So what? It's alcohol"

As for the bike?

Both riders pegs damaged
Screen cracked
Light guards cracked
Fairing broken
OS indicator gone
NS mirror gone
Paint down OS scratched
OS exhaust hanger bent
Bar ends scraped
OS rad side scratched
OS engine casing gouged
Sat nav damaged
Helmet ruined

Amazingly ... one part of my jacket ... on the top of the left shoulder ... is spotlessly clean. How odd?

Soooo all my warnings and bad omens in the run up to this adventure proved to be correct; should have listened to my head instead of my heart.

Facking arse biscuits, sounds like an insurance job.

It's where your chip fell off...

Sorry , only joking, glad to hear you're not to badly hurt.

I spent ages cleaning that spot ;)

Great night, really enjoyed so ta everyone!

Apart from when I was locked inside the pub (how ironic), left the back way and found myself lost with no idea where I was. Fab :thumbup

Ive still got a roaring hangover and have to drive down inlaws after the moto gp. Still think I was pissed this morning
