My forum name is the personal number plate I have had on my cars since 1980, picked it up for pennies, worth a few thou now, but would be worth more if the numbers were 911.

RBD914

My user name, which I use on several forums, stems from my heritage and my other passion.

Im American Indian, Oglala Lakota (Sioux) nation from Pine Ridge Reservation, SD. When Im not riding in the north Georgia mountains or at track days, I teach scuba diving on the weekends. Hence...Oglaladiver.

I used to use Fatbastard as a user name then went on diet and lost some weight , so for a laugh changed to Slimjim but i'm afraid my names not Jim and I'm not very slim :crazy

I usually use Batfastard - but I am getting bored with people that don't understand self depreciating humour, so it's a V60 and I am called Paul.

My user name is from a personal number plate I have used on all my cars for the last 20 years RBD 914 which are my initials, cost me peanuts back then, worth a few thou now - but would be worth far more if the numbers were 911 however!

I was a Harley guy for many years. (Started riding street and racing on a '78 Kawi Z1-R and then got into HDs). My favourite ride for many years (and presently on her third facelift) is an '81 FXE, an old, cast iron, 45 degree V-twin, rigid mount, four speed shovelhead. The only thing stock on her now is the rear tire and the frame. Love that bike. Having a little Cree in me from mom's side of the familia, I have Grandfather Wolf watching over me, helping to keep me safe. Combined the two and you get me, Shovelheadwolf. Got back into sport bikes about five years back when a friend of the wife's threw me the keys to her race prepped SV650. A few weeks later there was a Triumph RS triple in the garage. Several accidents (not my fault, hit by a blonde and a deer on separate occasions) and I decided on a Tuono to give my busted up arm a break from the SuperSport riding pos. Haven't looked back since.

Great story me Wee Hamish

I guessed as much about the Harley, but the Wolf side of story makes for interesting reading.

My name comes from The Fantastic Adventures of Mr. Rossi in the 70's
known as Mr. Rossi Looks for Happiness
My name is Rossieau and since I was a child people told me I am a professor but I made it Dr.
I had it well before vale became famous.

got mine from a character in the disc world books called Cut My Own Throat Dibbler. obviously changed the Dibbler to Andy because thats my name.

rat on a stick anyone?
Got mine from workmates and a type error.
At an old engineering works there was 3 rob's on the shop floor,
one from london= cocky bob
One tall= long rob
And one with stocky legs and very broad shoulders= square rob (me)
I occasionally got sponge bob when mr squarepants came on our tv's so when it came to finding a unique email address I tried squarepants............. Nope it was taken so I tried it with a 'z' instead of a 's' and it gave me it, result! But then I realised I had pressed the 't' instead of the 'r'............. I kinda liked it sight I kept it, might sound draft but I have never come across another squatepantz.... :)

I've used many names on different bikes sites, including chicken strips, when every daft sod took pity on me, thinking I had huge strips..:no
