Hey folks. Sorta been lurking here for a few weeks"¦"¦.looks like a good source of info and banter. New to Tuono ownership, got a late 2006 R in standard guise and absolutely loving this bike. Last bike was an 06 Zed Thou and I thought THAT was good"¦. but, test rode the T and had to have it"¦..what a machine, it just handles SOOOOO nice compared to the soggy zed. Feels so light and loving being on a V twin again, last one was a TL-S some years back"¦.. Anyway"¦"¦.went to the shed today to get her out for a ride and thumbed the starter"¦"¦.yep"¦..**** all happened, just a loud click! Bike shop I bought it from installed a new battery and only done a couple runs since then so guessing its not fully charged"¦..maybe its a bargain basement job, I dunno"¦..anyways, reading here for a while seems I'm not the only one with battery probs"¦..anyway, can't see it being a major prob and not letting it spoil my love for this beasty"¦..if need be I'll just buy a new batt"¦"¦"¦..anyways, its on charge overnight, see what happens tomorrow.
Looking forward to some banter and info and crack, cheers folks.

It did have but the bike shop uninstalled it, said it was more trouble than it was worth, it was unreliable and made the bike fail to start, its off now and well, now……..it won't seem to start :(

What Politician and what he do? Aren't they all grief? :D

If he was West Highlands, then yes. :)

Welcome to the mad house mate.....as soon as you get her running, check voltages across battery terminals...should read about 14.5V ish @ about 4000rpm...if much lower than that, then there could be a alternator/reg/rectifier repair required. Pain in the arse...but not a biggie in itself, and fairly easily fixed.

The West yi say....well far whir yi during the fudfest III erm fudfest? We could have been din wae some local knowledge.
